No bruv, some panels don’t have this greenish greys. My spouse’s iPhone 12 doesn’t have greenish tint at all and my 12 PM has it on low brightness. For me it’s pretty easy to differentiate.
No, I am talking about those people who have green tint issue and now they are claiming that it has been fixed after ios14.5.

Green tint is still not completely fixed. You can still replicate the issue in certain condition. Even in HDR videos you can notice the flicker, it's hard to replicate, but definitely it's there.
All those people who are saying GREEN TINT IS FIXED, simply unable to notice it or replicate it.
For that matter, RAISED BLACKS has been completely fixed.

I can replicate it every time at low brightness, all I have to do is swipe through photos and the black borders light up green straight away for a few seconds, also seeing it on black loading screens.

Wish apple would come out and say what the hell is going on, be nice to know if they're working on a fix for phones that are still affected, or if they'll have a recall program for units that are affected.

Don't want to try the apple store lottery since one person got a display replacement for the same issue, 3 days later green tint reappeared. 🤷‍♂️

Still have the same issue in photos app.

I don’t think this can be fixed with software. The issue on my iPhone 12PM is only bottom half is greenish, top half appears perfectly grey.

So it’s hardware and can not be fixed.

You planning on getting the phone replaced?

Apple is fixing the problem because before at any brightness under 40% the blacks would be gray and stay like that but after a second it turns to black, so they are fixing it

Taking their time, might be fixed once iOS 25 gets released 🤦‍♂️

Also discovered on my 12 pro that at any brightness when viewing hdr content on youtube it has raised blacks where it's gray. It has to be an LG screen because their tv's do this to.

No issues on my lg oled tv🤔 I just want this green tint fixed already 😩 no point getting a replacement at the moment as some people who have gotten a replacement had the green garbage reappear after a short period of time. 🤦‍♂️

Would it be a defect because the higher the brightness the more gray I can see, so I'm thinking it's still software

Honestly have no idea anymore lol, fixed for some, not others, device and screen replacement working for some and not others. 🤷‍♂️

Since it took apple till august to fix green garbage on the 11 series, i‘m hoping it’s software.

My 12PM has a Samsung Panel. It had both raised blacks and greenish greys at low brightness.
Raised blacks have been fixed and greenish greys are still there.

Interesting, the plot thickens 🤦‍♂️😂🥺 guessing apple won’t leave our displays like this or they’ll be facing a lawsuit.

I did receive my iPhone 12 yesterday and have no problems with the screen, no green tint and no yellow whites, looks very similar to my 11 Pro.

Build date may 2021 and has a Samsung panel.

Purple? My family all have the normal 12 since November and no issues, but me and 3 friends all have the raised blacks and no yellow whites or green tint

Is it worth having to deal with Apple because there is a Apple store 15 minutes from me, because the new models seem to have the problem fixed.
Idk if newer batches is better or if I just got lucky. If you are not happy with your device you should contact Apple and try to get a new one imo.

It might have been fixed for you but not for others. My blacks are still at LCD levels. And I do not have to look for the problem to see it. Very disappointed.
