I really wanted to hang on to my 12 Pro Max Pacific Blue, but at near $2000 (factoring tax in) for the 13 Pro Max, I'll take whatever discount Apple will give me to knock that price tag down.

For me the lowest storage option of 128GB is gonna completely cover my needs and probably most, unless you shoot a lot of video.

My 512gb 12PM is full and I've had to turn on offloading apps for the first time ever, on account of Lossless audio. They should have had a 1tb option two years ago.

I’m still using an IPhone XS I pre-ordered when they first came out. Still deciding if I’ll order the iPhone 13 Pro on Friday or wait another year for the 14. I know I’ll be keeping my Series 6 watch.

Wow. First time ever I’ve not bothered watch the event.

So they’ve brought back macro mode which they never should have taken away, given us 1x more zoom, but still powered it all by a 12mp sensor… and we still dont have a finger print sensor - when large parts of the world are still wearing masks. Have I knocked my head and woken up in 2015?!

After having switched to android about 6 years ago, and only having come back to apple when the 12pro came out, I remember why I switched to Android now 🤣

2015 wants their tech back 🤣

But hey, at least they gave us a better refresh rate… to look at low res pictures on 🤦‍♂️

I love how people on here try to justify the iPhone 13 pro max 1tb price by comparing it to the z fold 3 saying the z fold only has 256gb and isnt as strong yet costs more! The phones are in Completely different leagues. They should be comparing the pro to the S21 Ultra.

I had a 11 ProMax 512 and on Apple Upgrade program including loss and theft my monthly payments were $72.83

When I price out the 1TB ProMax that's at $1599 here now and include loss and theft it says monthly payments are $77.83

That's only a $5 increase from the 2 year old phone, but I know my phone was probably $200 - $300 less than $1599, not sure what it was when I bought mine.

Something does not add up as over 2 years that's only a $120 increase over the 11 ProMax?

I know they charge tax all up front so I don't think it's related to that.

If I'm thinking this through wrong, please point out my error.

Yep. They have run out of ideas and trying to convince people they can record a Hollywood film is desperate act as most people won't use the new camera features. Very disappointed announcement but not surprised. When it becomes all about the camera you know they are struggling.
Where they gonna get more ideas for Apple TV+? LOL

I was holding out for this announcement to see if it was finally time to upgrade my phone. Honestly, I'm not very impressed with the iPhone 13 and may just continue to use my iPhone 6 plus for another year...

Pro Res 4K video recording is NOT available at the base 128gb storage size?

Also extremely disappointed in No USB-C connectivity. Unless they upgraded IO speeds on lightning, anyone attempting to copy 4K ProRes files off their device is going to have to get used to waiting...

I upgraded from an 8+ to a 12 Pro Max and it is literally the same phone.

I will check back when iPhone 16 arrives.

I use a pretty run down 6S+ and really want an upgrade. I look at this and the first thing they promote is how it looks and the cameras which are ok but nothing overly special. It’s £1500 but in real world terms I can’t see much other than some new camera filters that are really new.
I am tired with the word “Pro” when it means nothing. I am tired of “all day battery life” and instead of telling you a figure and how that was benched it’s based on the new features, compared to last years model.
Also to keep saying it is the most powerful and greatest iPhone ever … well duh… it’s new so it should be better. You aren’t going to say it is worse than last years or about the same are you.

I switched from android to iphone 8 a couple of years ago (needed to use an apple watch for medical reasons briefly), and upgraded that to a 12pro. Not gonna lie, other than a sharper screen and a battery that lasted all day, it barely felt like an upgrade. I’d wait till next year 🤣

I upgrade every year regardless and rarely end up paying more for the new phone when I sell my current one. Looking forward to getting this.
