Great pics the blue looks awesome in real life. It’s not a niche blue that will date it looks like a pro colour for sure. Grey from some angles and subtle blue from others. I thought my wife’s phone was mine (graphite) when I went to get my phone from the table.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Motion > Limit Frame Rate. This will set it back to 60fps and you will very easily notice the difference in speed and smoothness.
How's the MagSafe stickiness on the Otterbox case? I'd like to find a decent case to use with a car mount that attaches with MagSafe and so far (from Amazon reviews) it seems the only cases that people say stick very well are ones made by Apple (and I'd prefer a non-Apple case).
I actually think throwing caution to the wind and going for the red may be the best option for the Sierra Blue...
Wow. Thanks for that solid post and pictures. In love with the Blue Sierra , I’m thinking of returning the Apple golden brown leather case and just rock this naked with Apple care +. Might keep the case for my workout actually not sure yet. Just loving the different shades of colors.
Your right. There is a difference. High speed scrolling is quite a bit smoother. Slow speed obviously not so much.
After using my 13 pro max on and off for the past 5 hours.
120hz+iOS is a game changer, turned it off for a few seconds, couldn’t live without it anymore, words or videos online can’t describe how good it is, you need to experience it in person. 👌
Macro mode, is also the real deal
Sierra blue is definitely more grey than blue, looks stunning 👌 the frame and camera rings have a slight chrome look about them.
Sierra Blue and blue Jay silicone case go really well together.
For the first day, battery life seems rock solid hardly moving at all, will see how it goes on a full charge over the coming days.
If people are still on the fence about buying one of the pro models, I’d buy them for 120hz alone, once you use it and see it, you will never go back.

The display was a big deciding factor for me. Granted I generally upgrade every year anyway, I was truly on the fence already having a 12 PM. That said, the 120 hz availability on the iPhone was long overdue and glad to hear from the impressions they did it right. Once I get mine later today, I am sure I will feel the same way. Congrats and enjoy your new device!
Just tried limiting the frame rate on my 2018 12.9 inch iPad Pro. The difference is noticeable with it turned off. You can feel it and see it.

Thanks mate, you won't be disappointed, I tuned off 120hz for 2 seconds, then turned it straight back on, can't use 60hz anymore, it's definitely a game changer, iOS was smooth 24/7 already, iOS on steroids now. 👌
you'll notice it even more with the oled iPhone, it's amazing!
nope, it's a couple of versions behind the final release, zolotech video shows the software version its running in his pro Max video.

One more question regarding the updated cameras. How are the lensflares ( aka dots in the picture if u point the camera at bright lights/sun )?

I ordered the 256GB 13 Pro Max in Sierra Blue. I ordered several Magsafe cases from different vendors, including 2 from Apple: the clear case and leather case in Wisteria. the case I ordered from Otterbox has already been delivered, so I will have at least one case ready to go when the phone arrives.
