In person I notice slight pink on the left. Night mode is okay though.

if it only looks like the 2nd pic up close where I can faintly see it along the edge I think, id still say its a keeper overall from temp and general uniformity.

Does it bother you personally? If you don't see anything wrong with it in day to day usage then it's probably not worth getting an exchange and maybe getting a worse screen.
Yes it does, I could see it in daily usage, I'm gonna send back to apple for investigate and see what they comes up with, because in my country we don't have 14 days exchange policy, still I have this phone no more 2 weeks.

Either they change the panel out (which is also a lottery) or they will say nothing is wrong with it. I have low faith in the 13 series panels this year because of how many phones I have gone through, but you can certainly try.

Do you have a 14 day return policy available?

Im not sure if we have 14 days return here, but I would try to ask for return if they only swap the panel. Don't want a phone that I'm not happy with. Just now went to check out the display set at the store, their screen is much better than mine.

Try express replacement if you can do it or request a refund. You should get a phone that you’re happy with

Oof. And you've already had loads of replacements, right? I think I'm also seeing a difference between the left and right edges too (it's subtle). Is that right? Just wondering if it's like mine (and others I've seen) where there's a warmth/brightness difference between left and right.

Your usual average panel that is. Similar to mine slight warm pink tint in lower half left. Next one might have slight warm tint in upper left, lower left, upper right , lower right … ?
There will always be issues...it comes down to which ones you can live with. The panel quality is a pure lottery but if you start to exchange/return and repurchase you start going down a path of a very good chance of something else wrong with the device whether functionally or cosmetically. The chances of getting an overall perfect unit is slim to none. As long as the user thinks its perfect in their eyes that is all that matters. You have to pick and choose your battles with IPhones on top of weighing all the running around and time wasted of swapping the device out.

I had that with 12 Pro and G9P screens more or less, only the one and only G9N I managed to get was good and acceptable for me.

Talking about the Panel Serial Number, I think there is a slim chance of getting perfect screen. Even my new device come with G9N panel, there is still red tint on the left side of the phone screen.

May be we need to stick with this for another 12 months and hope to see Mini Led on Pro Models

I seem to notice that G9N exhibit this issue this year. I have the G9L panel and is perfectly uniform and no pink/red tints.

Both G9N and G9P.... I am not going to chase for unicorn, I just need to live with this until next september haha.

The top right is green, the whole bottom is orange, and the bottom right edge of the display is darker than the rest. It looks horrendous and I find it interesting that this passed Apple’s tolerances (if they do test for this). I returned that phone as soon as I saw it :)

See the photo attached for what my current phone looks like. It’s mostly white, with some red tint on the left. It’s the best that I’ve gotten so far, but I still see the tint in day to day use.
Yikes...I guess that means another return?
yep. At this point I’m not even setting up my Apple ID or inserting SIMs into these devices before they look good screen wise.

G9L must be A-grade, G9N B-grade and G9P C-grade then? I have not seen a G9L display yet and it’s been an almost even split between G9N and G9P for the phones I tested, so they must be very rare. You have a unicorn in your hands :)

I am not sure whether it's worth going through multiple more devices to find an excellent screen. Most look like crap. What are your thoughts?

Yes, its unfortunate but me personally don't have that kind of time and patience to continue driving an hour to and from the Apple store only to find something else wrong. I look at it this way, we are a month into the product cycle and only have 11 more to go! The longer we get away from the initial release, the less I care about imperfections.

I see your posts in the Apple Store availability thread too. How many have you had so far?

I don't want to embarrass myself : ) More than you lets just say!
These devices are worth a lot, and apple has a two week no questions asked return policy. I would say it's worth trying until you find a good one. I probably will try until the two week period for my phone is up and then just put up with the tint, since it's not horrendous.
