I sold my MacBook Pro M1 and bought my wife’s MacBook Air M1 it’ll suffice for the time being. But I think if I was going for a laptop it would be the 14 incher MBP. How’s yours going ? Congratulations 🎉
Thanks mate, I'm loving mine at the moment, glad I went with the 16" model, the larger screen is breathtaking, it's like I'm viewing content on a big screen TV lol.

Warning, not a big difference in screen real estate between the 13" and 14" model.

Check out this video, he compares them side by side.

Absolute nonsense. Respectfully.
There were posts in other threads late last year and earlier this year for the 12 Pro and a similar relationship between G9N being better than G9P was noted, e.g. this post https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/iphone-12-pro-raised-blacks-display.2263200/post-29524953 and https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...m-warm-check-here-first.2262691/post-29304116

I also saw that you contributed to the latter thread ;) I'm just going off of what others had previously suggested and obviously it's not possible to know for sure if the third letter is related to binning.

So worth to keep the unit? For my eyes without photo looks even more uniform
Honestly, isn't that is your call. Are you happy with it? That's all that matters. Don't second guess yourself by what you read on here. There are worse off ones and there are better screens out there. Playing to return/replacement game can go either way and sometimes lead you down a path of looking for something that doesn't exist or very unlikely to find.

Has anyone whose devices oled-screen has an uneven tint noticed that it gets better after a year or so of using the phone? Or will it stay forever like this?

Before I started to follow this thread I was happy with my display. In fact looks much more uniform to my eyes than in the taken pics. But I always want all the bells and whistles possible, looking for graal or unicorn whatever
Additionally my (I know rude) answer to my dude’s why you want this or these even don’t really needing it? Was always: Dog licks his balls cause ha can
Took too much hype for the best possible in all batches.
Can I see, please, the panel, considered here as the best one we’ve already seen?
Thanks in advance

Yes it seems to be random.
The other thing I’ve noticed is that the pink red tint is more even and across the whole screen. One thing that sticks out the most and I could be wrong , it’s much sharper display. Again I don’t subscribe for serial numbers of panels being relevant. The unfortunate situation is that just like my iPhone 12 Pro Max the same issue repeated for my 13 pro max. In almost the same order first phone on both devices had frame damage. 2nd one one for the 12 pro max had deep green tint third one was acceptable. First 13 pro max frame damage but screen was acceptable. ( fool me for returning it) 2nd 13 pro max was red tint lower half of screen , current 3rd device is acceptable. Still slightly warmer at bottom but good enough for me.

Trying to correlate screen quality to serial number is fools errand. I have a G9P panel which is pretty good panel from what I can tell. Take that information with a grain sand because you could get another G9P panel and it could be really bad. It all comes down to where the panel was cut from sheet. And there is no way to know.

Is there any particular reason we know as to why we are seeing this orange issue now and not in previous years? Manufacturing difference due to LTPO? I have never had an OLED issue stand out to me like this. The green tint from last year was only visible at night and it wasn't visible otherwise.

There is now an orange tint issue. Now have a rainbow of colors ?

I would like to see a picture of the panel that has a orange tint.

new device from the store last night. This is probably the most obvious tint I have seen so far.

Could you share a picture of your current 13 PM?
