Ok so I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this behaviour but I took a screen shot of a white screen and when I look at it at the photo of that white screen at 5% brightness it’s very uniform and when I switch quickly to the settings page it’s still nice and uniform but then literally within 3-4 seconds the pink tint will start to slowly appear at at the top and bottom of the page then I will switch back to that white photo and I can see the pink tint disappear also within seconds, I tried again to switch to the settings app again and same thing happenes the pink tint starts to reappear within 3-4 seconds. This is so odd and makes me wonder if this is a software issue. Has anyone noticed this?
Do the same, but this time press the power button and then unlock phone to go back to the same screen again. 🤣

anyway, I already got my third phone yesterday, and the tint issue still happen on the new Phone. However, this time it's kinda look better to me since it's appear on the top half.

Pick your poison guys, choose the one that u comfortable with.

If it’s still a noticeable issue why not just return it and get another? Why settle for less? If I wanted to do that I’d just go get some android. Or are you just tired of playing the quality control lottery?

time and energy and there's no certainty that anyone will ever get a good enough screen when playing the lottery

Is yours a 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max?

Anyone who owns a regular 13 or 13 mini, do you guys have tinting issues too?

Why settle? When does one draw the line ? I know there’s no way in hell I’ll be like that other fella on here that went into his 40th iphone exchange , did you see that ?🤣 three was plenty of time and money spent. Thanks Apple

it's 13 Pro Max.
My first device: iPhone 13 Pro Max (Graphite): Red tint on the upper right (very noticable under the bright light)
My second device: iPhone 13 Pro Max (Sierra Blue): Red tint (appear in red line) on the left side of the screen
My third device: iPhone 13 Pro Max (Graphite): Upper red tint which could be acceptable.

They all do it. It’s a true tone bug, from any screen hit the power button to turn off screen. Then unlock / wake screen and you’ll see.
If only apple would get rid of True Tone, we have enough piss yellow going on with these screens as it is. 🤦‍♂️

TrueTone is wonderful in bright sunny days or rooms with bright LED lighting , everywhere else it’s disgusting.
Pixels any good? thinking of trying it out for a week, then sending it back ? nothing left to buy from apple. ?‍♂️?

got my 4th unit today... still some issue. I'm really tired to play the lottery. This unit is uniform in white screen, a bit uneven in the grey backgroung posted before (the compare picture is with 13P of my wife).

The pink bubble pops up only in few condition.. but it's there.

2ns pic has been taken with 0% brightness, other with 10%

PS: true tone ON
PPS: in RL the blotch isn't so noticeable

Because the noticeable issue will just get replaced by another one (or worse...two or three new issues).

This goes to show that all of them if not most do exhibit this issue. Yes there are some unicorns out there.

Guys, this is my 3rd device (Graphite) iPhone 13 Pro Max 128gb. I think I’m done with OLED lottery. At least with this kind of non-uniformity or red tint or whatever the issue is, I am comfortable using in Dark Mode.
