iPhone 13 Pro iPhone 13 Pro screen uniformity issue

I noticed this a lot switching from a white screen shot to the settings app it was so annoying thankfully the one I replaced it with does not have this issue

do you advise me to replace it? I just notice that the gray becomes a little greener for a few seconds as soon as I have switched from the white screen to the dark mode settings ... and after 2/3 seconds it becomes normal
 
Well why I usually take what I read on here with a grain of salt (sight unseen) I was able to reserve one for pickup tonight. I had zero intention of trying one last time but I couldn’t resist since I was already out running errands near the Apple store. I must have been having dud screens all this time because this one is night and day better. The colors pop and aren’t looking washed out. Holding them side by side I couldn’t believe the difference. It’s one of those things where if you don’t something to compare to you think it looks great. It’s almost like there was a film over my old one as even the letters comparing the two are much more crisp. That said, I can vouch for those who had recently bought one that there are better units out there. No cosmetic damage that I saw and screen is as uniform as it will get. I also had that weird color shift where it would change for a few seconds and this one does not. Very strange. Maybe it is hardware? No clue…but once I read it I could relate immediately. So who knows, if your on the fence debating about exchanging yours I say take a shot. You also have the extended return policy now as well. Not sure if anything improved or just pot luck but we won’t know until we have a bigger sample size of recent purchases. Good luck!

I know exactly what you mean about it looking like there was film on screen this is my old one was like that too it always had the the appearance of looking like it was covered with finger smudges luckily the new one is not like that.

I've done the test! my iphone 13 pro does not have this problem! from a totally white screen to then switch to the wake up app! and also with the gray image in the settings! with 0% brightness! all perfec
 
these are mine 13 pm with 0% brightness and auto brightness on , true tone on . ngl with all the testing its already messing with my eyes.

Finally i got the third replace here in Switzerland and seems perfect.

The first one had the problem of red tint at darkmode of the right side at the screen, 2nd has horrible blueshift at 2 degrees off axis. I've need 7 Genius dudes to confirm all the stuff, one said its typical OLED with in the tolerance ??‍♂️

Yes, that's a perfect comparison! I was trying to think of what someone could relate to who may not have it on their device. My guess its more common than we think but without having a reference to one that doesn't exhibit this no one would know. I didn't think my other one was bad until I turned the new one side by side on then was in shock. I guess what you don't know won't bother someone.

lol don’t bother with the idiot bar dudes, just go return it within 14 days and buy a new one

In every unit I owned of this 13 series, I noticed a slight difference in temperature at the vertical edges of the screen.

It is noticeable in the settings menu: if I look at a solid white/grey image it looks ok.

Yes! I confirm! I noticed it too on all my iPhones! On the left side I notice a slightly darker tint!
