GOOD MORNING!"Calm down everybody. You're using it wrong."

This is the only correct post in this entire thread. I definitely said this.
GOOD MORNING!"Calm down everybody. You're using it wrong."

Gives them, not gave them. Yes, its the gift that keeps on giving. You don't sound jealous much,..you forgot the the free Apple merch and hardwareDamn. I'm so grateful that these employees put in minimum work and collect a fat Apple paycheck. In my opinion, these workers should be grateful that COVID gave them 2 years of vacation and that iPhones, iPads, and Macs were in huge demand.
I was thinking the same thing. The fact the built-in Camera app is not having this issue tells me it could be a issue with the apps. I expect Meta to issue a fix pretty quickly with an app update for both Instagram and Facebook itself.

It’s only happening once to people. No one here says it keeps happening. Also why return it is no damage.Wow, what a goofy mess, bug! Even with this spastic violent stutter of the small engine/motor in these apps (all the clips I've seen are with Tik Tok, IG, Snapchat...perhaps maybe other 3rd party apps that might use the camera[?]).
If I had this brand new phone and it happened once, twice. YEAH, I would exchange it ASAP! Don't take a chance....who knows what kind of potential short or long term damage to the motors happened with this mess.
The problem list has expanded from the shaking rattling and buzzing to the failure to focus. At least in a new article from BGR. They also say Apple is aware of it and working on a solution. They (BGR) say don’t use social media apps until a fix is in and if affected return the unit for replacement - and I suppose don’t use social media apps or anything that uses the camera on the replaced phone.Got to say I've hit a couple of problems with the camera on my 14 Pro. When setting up my esim I had to scan in the QR code using Apple's own settings option 'Mobile Data, Add eSIM' and the image it was displaying was very blurred although it did scan it in. I've also used a couple of other apps that scan in barcodes and they have struggled to focus on the barcodes despite me never having a problem with my old 12 Pro.
The stock app does seem to work Ok for now but if I activate it and put the lens to my ear I can hear a small amount of clicking but am not seeing any vibration issues.
So there is certainly something quirky going on.
Where did apple say don’t use it? That was just macrumorsThe problem list has expanded from the shaking rattling and buzzing to the failure to focus. At least in a new article from BGR. Yikes!
A friend and I also tried this on two 14 Pro Max and 0 issues.I think this is a hardware issue and not a software issue. I have a 14 Pro and have zero problems. I’ve tried to reproduce this issue in Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter and my camera works completely fine. No shaking or vibration at all.
The fact that it is happening in Snapchat and Tik Tok doesn't suggest this is a Meta software bug.
BGR - so not official.Where did apple say don’t use it? That was just macrumors
Just saying, those clips...even if once or twice are a violent jiggle..something is clicking around also. I wouldn't take the chance especially if you're in the 14 day return window. You drop this much money on this...darn right I'm getting a replacement. It’s only happening once to people. No one here says it keeps happening. Also why return it is no damage.
Right on point!!!Work from home quality. This is probably the first iPhone to be developed mostly during Covid.
Now we know why Cook is adamant about workers returning to the office. "Working" from the beach is over. Tim Cook has all the data on the lack of productivity and employee disengagement. Macrumors forum posters that claim they know how to run Apple better are not smarter than Tim Cook.
I'm skipping the iPhone 14 and probably also the iPhone 15. I'll buy the iPhone 16 because it'll be the first iPhone designed and produced with workers in the office.
Could be. But highly doubt it. The camera I’m sure is built to withstand falls and things like this. When they test them out I’m sure they see if they can withstand it.Just saying, those clips...even if once or twice are a violent jiggle..something is clicking around also. Again, no idea (right now) what this actually did to the main camera, even if it was just one time...it may be fine now, but some motor might prematurely fail in 2-3 months.
Yeah, Boy Genius Report will publish anything and everything...BGR - so not official.
