iPhone 14 Pro Delivery Estimates Begin Slipping Into October

Well for first time in years I got in right at opening, and 30 seconds was done, got my order mail at 1 minute past opening and all was well and bliss….. but wait hour later I get error in payment somehow, somewhere from a time long ago, and galaxy far away (and after I had updated all card info) my setup iUP preorder somehow found that old card and I was on hold. Took me 3 hours to talk to a service rep. but he quickly updated the card info on the order for me and I was good to go and for first time in 4 years I am on for opening day with my new iPhone 14 1TB space black Promax!
Secured mine for 9/16. The preorder process was luckily smooth for me. Will be replacing my iPhone X so this will be a significant upgrade for me.
I just looked at Best Buy site looks like they all phones available for pick up or delivery next Friday. I did this on the 12 Pro.
Got in the app on my phone at 8:00 EDT exactly. Had the first phone checked out 30 seconds later and second phone checked out at 8:01 EDT. The pre-order option helps so much. Cannot wait till next Friday!

Ordering my phone and saw delivery was on 9/16 and realized no one would be home for several days, so cancelled and started over and the time slipped to when I would be home. Took a wait of about 2 minutes.
Data point: My sweetie decided it's time to retire her 6S...Pro, Deep Purple, 256GB, AppleCare+, arrives on the 16th.
No, that does not follow. Desiring something that's better (in one's opinion) doesn't mean you "hate" the existing design. I for one couldn't care less about the notch on pre-14 iPhones either way, but I think the "Dynamic Island" is really great.
Got a 128 pro in purple for my wife and 256 pro max space black for myself. I was ready to go at 5am sharp. Delivery for the 16th on both.
Same here but with 256 purple for the wife and 512 space black for myself (both pro not pro max). Got it all ready with the preorder forms last night, woke up just before 5 to get ready. Done in a couple minutes this morning. Brief uncertainty waiting for confirmation emails, but once they showed up I went back to sleep. Arriving Friday. First time buying iPhone at launch. Our 11 Pros are showing their age, particularly with battery so ready to be new again.
People buying a purple iPhone aren't anywhere near the same as royalty.
I was able to finally order from the Apple Store with T-Mobile carrier financing about an hour ago. iPhone 14 Pro, Purple, 256GB. I chose store pickup and was able to choose the 16th, but I took the 17th because it had better time slots.
I tried to order 10 minutes before the successful order (annd frequently for two and a half hours before that) and I kept receiving the error my account wasn’t activated, so I think the T-Mobile ordering just started working about an hour ago (7:30am PT/10:30am ET). I imagine a not insignificant amount of phones were reserved for T-Mobile customers, so I suspect I actually will be able to pick up on Saturday the 17th.
I haven’t done the preorder on the day of release thing since the iPhone X, but before that I did it frequently and have ever had so many issues.
I’m looking forward to something smaller than my iPhone 12 Pro Max…that thing is a brick.

I went with Verizon payment plan for that sweet $800 trade-in. It kept throwing me an error on iPhone Apple Store app. After about 20 minutes trying, I brought my iPad as well. Both kept throwing errors. I brought my iPhone and iPad to my home office and also tried on Windows/Chrome. Well, Windows/Chrome didn't throw any error and got me to complete the entire process in single run. I did put my order about 30 minutes late, chose store pickup next Saturday. I'm getting my Silver Pro 512GB for $13/month. Just finished my $60/month payment on my iPhone 12 Pro 512GB.
She’s upgrading from a standard 12 and I’m upgrading from a 12 Pro Max. We skipped the 13 because it just didn’t seem like much of an upgrade. Our 12s are still mint and batteries good, but we just wanted the new one lol.
Of course purple is royal. Why else would Prince sing about standing in the Purple Rain?

I got lucky I guess. Laying in bed, 5:01am, launched the Siri shortcut I created to open the app and begin checkout. Took 2-3 button clicks and it was ordered. Went super fast and smooth for me with a pre-approved iPhone upgrade program setup.

I’m a very neutral kinda guy. I always go for blacks/whites/grays but out of all the non neutral colors, purple is my favorite. Was very close to getting it too but I’m pretty sure Space Black on an iPhone is a first (think it was only Jet Black before). I suppose you can call it an all new color for this year like purple lol.
I was unable to "pre prepare my order..>" Every time I did so, it wouldn't enter my bag.
If I clicked "view prepared orders" it always came up empty even though I ran through the process a dozen times over the last 24 hours.
So I had to order from scratch the moment it came online and website stalled here in Japan and my order finally went through at 9:08pm... So it's already fooking October for my iPhone 14 pro 256gb...
Seriously that's already a month into the next cycle.... Are apple taking the absolute piss?
There are hundreds of iPhone 14 Pros on sale on Yahoo auctions for $1300 to $1500 USD... they can fook right off!
Why do Apple allow this sort of shiite?
In Japan you can't even get a band live ticket for someone else without an ID and yet Apple are willing to sell to the Chinese fleecers without even a single ID card at the drop of the hat...
Talk about lack of loyalty to faithful customers!
They could simply lock down their phones to pre registered Apple accounts and not lose a single sale. Instead they willingly facilitate the triads in their money making schemes... (if you think I'm just ranting, you are wrong. The chinese mafia often get their massive slave base to purchase foreign public items in order to fund their diverse mafia "activities")
