Unlikely, and if Apple makes a mini it definitely won’t have pro features. Physics is a bitch, sorry... 😉So we’re NOT getting a 16 pro mini ?

I disagree. Even with Apple Music or Spotify, the ability to download the music locally makes the extra storage useful in case of no cellular connection. What do you do with all that memory? I don’t find much use for local storage anymore now that everything is cloud based
For me, I’ll only wish I had the improved battery life that I expect will be significant. The real bummer for anyone getting the 15 Pro will be seeing 15 Pro Max users using their 6x periscope lens. Next year’s 16 Pro will get it along with a larger display, faster RAM, stacked battery tech, a minor, albeit noticeable redesign, etc. If you have a 13 Pro or 14 Pro, it’s not much of a difference unless you go bigger and get the 15PM with the periscope lens. You know you want some of that 15 Pro (just can’t justify having to buy again), so anything to make you feel better 😂
That is NOT a universal problem. My 14 Pro after at 1 year is 96%. Charged every day with Magsafe.Wonder if the batteries will deteriorate between 10-20% in the first year like the 14 Pros?
lol I’m seriously considering it though. Have used all variants of the 13 series. Some sold, others gone to my family. I’m using the SE 2020 now, so enough justification to upgrade (wife can’t oppose much 😂)My devices are upgraded regularly across the board. I rather buy new golf gear than get the same phone. I feel just fine lol.
I’m going to go big this year and then move away from any new iPhone purchases for 3 to 4 years. For me, I’ll only wish I had the improved battery life that I expect will be significant. Finding the right buyer is often the trick to finding someone who will pay more. Apple just increased their trade-in values about a month ago, hopefully they don't lower them just before this next release. I took my phone by a Store the other day just to see; they're using AI now and take a photo of your phone's condition to know how much they'll give you. My 13PM has some light scratches on the screen, and they're still willing to give me the top value ($640).They always offer garbage for trade ins. Better to sell on your own
I’m totally with you! I’ve been well over a TB for at least a year just with photos and videosThe 2TB option would be such an ideal iPhone for me. I cannot rely on a 1TB iPhone anymore. I'm afraid I will be running out of space next year.
Apple also needs to increase iCloud storage next month.

Sure the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra doesn't really have a camera bump, but it's pretty thick phone.I just wish they could do something about the camera bump. i mean it is ridiculous at this point, it makes it impossible to use the phone without a case.
that being said, im still going to upgrade.
My 14 ProMax is at 97%That is NOT a universal problem. My 14 Pro after at 1 year is 96%. Charged every day with Magsafe.
The improvement rumored seems that way but the 16 ProMax rumors seem significant even though obviously less certainSo 14 Pro -> 15 Pro won’t have any real camera changes it sounds like?
I am is the same boat as you. I have so many lightning cables I do not know what to do with them.😄 I have a iPad mini 6th gen and I bought USB-C adapters that fit on the end of the lightning cables. I figured I can use them when I upgrade my 14 Pro Max in another 2 or 3 years. If that's it, I'll probably stick with my 14PM for another year. Unless battery life and camera are amazing. Couldn't care about usb-c — I've got so many lightning cables still waiting to be used![]()
Not necessarily. For places with higher sales tax it can actually be pretty competitive since the trade in deducts from the pre-tax price. You also don't have to pay for shipping/seller fees for ebay etc. The M1 MBP I traded in for the M1 Pro MBP actually netted me around $100 more than what I would have got selling on my own. They always offer garbage for trade ins. Better to sell on your own
That's what I've been saying myself every year and then ending up buyng the new one in September. Keep trying thoughI’m going to go big this year and then move away from any new iPhone purchases for 3 to 4 years.
Exactly right. I welcome all of these improvements, but are they worth an upgrade? Probably not for me.Same for me. I do not need the USB-c or the speeds my backups to MacBook are fine as it is, and airdrop to my new iPad are just fine. The camera just does not make enough of a jump from my 14 ProMax if rumors hold
Yea, as long as they don't drop some unexpected feature that will leave me drooling, I think the 14 Pro Max is a very fine phone! The dynamic island is what sold me on it in the first place — otherwise I would still be rocking my 13 Pro.I am is the same boat as you. THIS RIGHT HEREThe 2TB option would be such an ideal iPhone for me. I cannot rely on a 1TB iPhone anymore. I'm afraid I will be running out of space next year.

8 GB of RAM is back on the table, or did you make a boo-boo? Might want to correct that.
