Has anyone any information on the second generation Ultra Wideband chipset? The jump from 90nm to 7 is massive, is it custom made?

You know you want some of that 15 Pro (just can’t justify having to buy again), so anything to make you feel better 😂
For me, I’ll only wish I had the improved battery life that I expect will be significant. The real bummer for anyone getting the 15 Pro will be seeing 15 Pro Max users using their 6x periscope lens. Next year’s 16 Pro will get it along with a larger display, faster RAM, stacked battery tech, a minor, albeit noticeable redesign, etc. If you have a 13 Pro or 14 Pro, it’s not much of a difference unless you go bigger and get the 15PM with the periscope lens.

My devices are upgraded regularly across the board. I rather buy new golf gear than get the same phone. I feel just fine lol.
lol I’m seriously considering it though. Have used all variants of the 13 series. Some sold, others gone to my family. I’m using the SE 2020 now, so enough justification to upgrade (wife can’t oppose much 😂)

I’m going to go big this year and then move away from any new iPhone purchases for 3 to 4 years.

They always offer garbage for trade ins. Better to sell on your own
Finding the right buyer is often the trick to finding someone who will pay more. Apple just increased their trade-in values about a month ago, hopefully they don't lower them just before this next release. I took my phone by a Store the other day just to see; they're using AI now and take a photo of your phone's condition to know how much they'll give you. My 13PM has some light scratches on the screen, and they're still willing to give me the top value ($640).

If that's it, I'll probably stick with my 14PM for another year. Unless battery life and camera are amazing. Couldn't care about usb-c — I've got so many lightning cables still waiting to be used :D
I am is the same boat as you. I have so many lightning cables I do not know what to do with them.😄 I have a iPad mini 6th gen and I bought USB-C adapters that fit on the end of the lightning cables. I figured I can use them when I upgrade my 14 Pro Max in another 2 or 3 years.

Not necessarily. For places with higher sales tax it can actually be pretty competitive since the trade in deducts from the pre-tax price. You also don't have to pay for shipping/seller fees for ebay etc. The M1 MBP I traded in for the M1 Pro MBP actually netted me around $100 more than what I would have got selling on my own.

ACTION BUTTON? --I will bet against that.

Steve Jobs introduction of the iPhone was to lambaste such physical buttons. He touted changing the buttons based on needs and new ideas via GUI. And now analysts think Apple wants to ADD a physical button?

Come on...

Yea, as long as they don't drop some unexpected feature that will leave me drooling, I think the 14 Pro Max is a very fine phone! The dynamic island is what sold me on it in the first place — otherwise I would still be rocking my 13 Pro.

My iPhone 14 Pro Max 1TB has a battery at 95%. It was a first day iPhone. It and my iWatch Ultra spend a few hours on the dual travel charger from Apple every night. Random sleeping hours screws up a charge routine. Joys of getting older.

Apple's iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to be announced in less than a month, introducing over 20 upgrades and changes to surpass the iPhone 14 Pro models introduced last year.

After over a year of rumors about the upcoming devices, we have compiled all of the key differences the next-generation "Pro" iPhone models are expected to feature based on information from reliable sources like Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, DSCC's Ross Young, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, and others. 8 GB of RAM is back on the table, or did you make a boo-boo? Might want to correct that.
