My XR has served me well, but this year I'll be upgrading. I waited an extra year because of the USB-C change (less hassle with changing chargers). Comparing the XR to the 15 is like night and day!

Might switch from a 13 mini to a 15PM.

I just don't spend as much time one handed while getting to and from work these days,
so reachability on the screen is no loger as important to me as it used to be.
Also really miss the build quality off the higher end models.

When I use the camera I also often miss the telephoto lens,
it was just so much more useful to have IMO.

Might change my mind when I see the price..

I'm in the market right now shopping for cars after my last one got totaled, and it looks like an ugly situation for both customers (me) and for dealers. Consumers don't want to or can't spend $60k at 8%+ interest on a depreciating asset. Trims and features (EV) that are completely out of line with what customers want. Dealers and their banking partners appear to be getting nervous.

I can understand that people may not want to spend $60,000 on a car but not all prices are that out of line with past decades. You had specifically mentioned the Grand Cherokee. The 2023 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x2 starts at $41,330 ($39,330 after rebate). When the original Grand Cherokee came out for 1993, they entry 4x2 base model with less standard equipment had an inflation adjusted starting price similar to today's 2023 GC Laredo. The 1993 GC Laredo was priced even higher.

Sometimes I think people became spoiled by low car prices of the past decade or two and don't realize or remember just how expensive cars could be in the 1980s, 90s, early 2000s.

I literally upgrade every year and don’t see an end in sight lol. 256GB 15 Pro Max here I come!

it just makes sense to me considering it’s the device I use all day everyday and the previous model always fetches like 75%-85% of what I originally paid.

Higher prices = lower demand
Lower prices = higher demand

That simple

I get one this year.

Been upgrading to every flagship iPhone version since the 3GS so yes I'l be upgrading from my 14PM 1TB once again. I do the same with the Apple Watch, been upgrading to every SS version since the series 0 all the way to the current ultra and I'll 100% be going for the new ultra if they release one this year.

I love playing with new tech, plus as I always sell my old devices it makes the upgrade cost a little better.

No, I’m keeping my 14 Pro another year. I’ll probably get the 16 Pro that comes with a periscope lens unlike the 15 Pro, maybe a noticeable redesign (the Pro line is overdue), faster memory, WiFi 7, stacked battery tech, etc.

I honestly preferred my 13pro over my 14pro. I’ll need some convincing before upgrading to the 15. Phone prices are no joke nowadays!!!!

I am on a 12pro and really wanted to upgrade this year but without the periscope camera in the 15pro. I think I will wait to see if the 16pro gets that upgrade.
