I think they were referring to a new design approximately every two years. Like 3, 3gs, 4, 4s, etc.

I don't really care about the hardware design as much as software changes, so the current look is fine. I just wish the sides were more rounded.

I’m getting the Pro blue or silver/gray anyway. I will get a clear case without MagSafe.

Even with cases you still see the camera bump color so people that don’t want clear cases have to find one that matches
or provides a good contrast ...
I have a clear case on my 13PM (always had leather before), but will go back to leather for my next phone

They mentioned "zero improvement" which would be completely false. "S" years have always offered improvements over the previous. I don't really know how much the iPhone design can really change on the outside at this point other than changing the camera layout. They continue to work towards a borderless screen. They've done every possible variation of the edges possible. The only thing they truly haven't done is a flip design.

I imagine one day they'll have a keynote only to announce that the new iPhones are already on our pockets... no changes or anything other that a new iOS version for the low price of $1,099.

I bet iPhone 16 will be all curved like the iPhone 11 was.

Yuck, jeez I hope these aren't accurate. The only decent one is the pink, at least you can tell it's pink and not some shade of off white. Maybe Apple is moving back towards all white devices, now you just get to pick your shade of white lol
I can't imagine they are. I've seen other mockups. And yes the regular 15's will be very pastel but still probably look better than these.

The Pro mock ups here look outlandish. One is actually purple when you look closely at it. It barely has a filter applied to change it to look sort of black.

Shades of white for the standard lineup. Shades of grey for the Pro lineup.

Maybe it's some sort of mind game like "The Dress". Is it blue and black? Is it white and gold? That is for you to decide 🤣

Leaker Sonny Dickson today shared images displaying a selection of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro dummy models, providing a closer look at the design of the upcoming devices.

The pictures showcase the design of the iPhone 15 in five different color options, corroborating a range of other reports from over the past year. As rumored, the device's aluminum frame has noticeably softer edges and clearly shows a USB-C port.

Apple is seemingly opting for a more muted, desaturated color palette for the iPhone 15 models this year. The latest reports suggest that the device will come in black, pink, yellow, blue, and green, but several other colors have been rumored in recent weeks.

The iPhone 15 Pro models, on the other hand, are widely expected to come in silver, gray, black, and blue – with no gold option available for the first time since the iPhone X. Other than the slightly more rounded frame and the switch from stainless steel to titanium, no other fundamental visual changes are expected for this year's new high-end iPhone models.

The entire iPhone 15 lineup is expected to be announced at Apple's "Wonderlust" event on Tuesday, September 12, with launch likely to proceed the following week. Key features for the iPhone 15 Pro are expected to include an Action Button and the A17 Bionic chip, while the standard iPhone 15 models are expected to sport a 48-megapixel camera and the Dynamic Island.

They didn't sell well because they were a year-behind, didn't have touch-ID, and carriers didn't push them. Just like the 5s and 5, and the 4, and the 3gs, and 3, everyone put their phones in cases. They still do, but they did then as well.

I'm a mid 40s dude and I like bright vibrant colors. Black and grays are boring as hell..
same. I want my iphones design to pop. I put a Dbrand skin on mine. On top of a clear case. My iphones always get clear cases.
Because apple has maybe made three vibrant colors since the iphone X. I miss my gloss black iphone. The iphone X was peak iphone design imo.
But apple is delivering more of the same. " NOW WITH USB-C "
😭
