These colors are just atrocious. I would love to see a couple of options with some pop.
This. You beat me to it lolWhat has happened to Apple colors recently? Take your pick, as long as you want black, greenish white, blueish white, pinkish white, or darker blueish white.
Those iPod Nanos were absolutely beautiful. The 5C was the closest we got to that.He also gave us this![]()
Why the F do people always equate colors with being "girly" and WTF is wrong with being girly?
You say iPod Touch and yet plenty of colors throughout that device's life... 🤷♂️
They didn't sell well because they were a year-behind, didn't have touch-ID, and carriers didn't push them. Just like the 5s and 5, and the 4, and the 3gs, and 3, everyone put their phones in cases. They still do, but they did then as well.
I'm a mid 40s dude and I like bright vibrant colors. Black and grays are boring as hell..
Apple did an excellent job with a Purple iPhone 12. The color was ahead of its time.holy crap these colors are downright awful; I wouldn't even call them "Colors" - this will get disliked but if the go into production, these will without a doubt be the ugliest iPhone ever.
Bring these back..

The Jet Black and standard (matte) Black iPhone 7 Plus were my favorite iPhone finishes ever.Anyone missing the Jet Black iPhone + iPhone 7 Plus in Product Red? iPhone colors are at their peak! Good times! 🙃
Looks more like this unexpected release from Huawei
Seems to be the thing here. Everything Apple does is somehow not good enough. Apart from adding a pen, better zoom, and folding the phone (outside of zoom I am not sure people are really clamoring on about) the iPhone is as good or better than everything else. Not sure what the complaining is really about.I wouldn’t put any stock in the colors shown. Wait until the real is revealed before you commence to complaining.
Probably about 10% of users put the phone in a case, if thatDoes it really matter, considering most people cover them up with a case and rarely see the color of the iPhone?
Normally I would agree with you… but ever since MacRumours turned into MacSpoilers*, I think this is the real deal.I wouldn’t put any stock in the colors shown. Wait until the real is revealed before you commence to complaining.
XR had bright colours similar to the 5C albeit with black as an option, and that was the best selling phone of its generationiPhone 5C colors were too soft and girly, which is why that phone didn't sell well, IMO.
Everyone picked the 5S to avoid having to be seen with those color selections. They also didn't offer black.
I'd say your percentages are backwards.Probably about 10% of users put the phone in a case, if that
I certainly never will
My favorite iPhone color ever. I want a pro one in this color more than anything.Apple did an excellent job with a Purple iPhone 12. The color was ahead of its time.

Not really, never see them very often irlI'd say your percentages are backwards.
The NEON colors of the 5C are VERY early 90s. I would never classify them as "girly" as they are neutral gender neon colors. They just never appealed to me, personally. The pastel colors in the 15 mockups are much more girly if not babyish to me.It's not that colors in general are "girly," but they picked soft coral toned colors for that series instead of the vibrant jewel tones they'd used on the iPod nano's and iPod mini's of the past. And they very obviously omitted a black option.
A lot of people like black phones and they forced everyone to upgrade to the 5S in order to get it, and then came back and said that it was the "premium materials" of the 5S as a justification for why the 5C flopped.
To make it a bit more clear on why everyone avoided the 5C:

Dull Blue, Dull Pink, Dull White, Dull Green and Jet Black.Very subtle colour differences indeed, I cannot even figure out which one of them is white/silver/starlight?

They still show the physical SIM slots on the side, which is promising.
