Steve Jobs would never make this sacrifice.

Oh god, it's so early and we already all have to finish our drink and refill our glass (as is the rule: If someone invokes what The Lord Jobs Hosanna Almighty would or would not approve of, all in the discussion must finish their drink).

Please, for the love of not having a hangover by 5pm, can we be more careful?

Who wants Apple to bring back USB-C iPhone Lightning Dock Station?

I believe we have reached peak iPhone. They are truly out of ideas. The new iOS is boring and so too will be these phones. I am on the iPhone upgrade plan, but this might be the first year I skip out. I don’t really care too much about the new features from last year either. The dynamic island was predicted to be this amazing thing and so far it seems to be another Mac TouchBar debacle in that nobody knows what to do with it.

A nice perk of the button instead of switch will be not having to dig in the opening with a nail to slide it on or off. Much easier to press a button. (for the cases users, especially the one that prefer the ultra thin minimal cases)

one more thing that won't require two hands for many.

I would think the action button is in a pretty bad position to use one handed, at least if you're right-handed? You would need to adjust your grip (especially on the Max) or use the other hand. I wonder why they do not move it like they did with the power button back in the day.

I much preferred the power button on top. Always confused about what that side button does.

Boring Hardware, boring software and I am not necessarily meaning this as a bad thing. It simply means the iPhone has reached its peak. It is actually great that I can hold onto my iPhone 12 Pro Max for yet another year without any regrets, especially at those 1,5k Euro price tags  maybe I'll check out the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 to play around with something new in the meantime (I am used to using multiple phones at the same time).

Ironic that the one change they did actually do is only because they are forced to do it

Ah, the quintessential, annual post about how iPhone has peaked.

Also, you have no idea this is the only reason Apple made the change to USB-C. You have your opinion, which you are 100% entitled to.

The little rubber strip that's left between the USB-C hole and the bottom of the screen looks pretty flimsy, can't see that holding up for very long
