This leak is basically... things will improve. The RAM is a long shot, everything else is a gimme. USB-C has to happen because EU said so.. even though apple should say screw them and go completely wireless.. but it's too soon for that. The real question is will apple penalize the EU by raising the prices there to account for having to use manpower to meet EU requirements of implementing USB-C.... that would be a fun gotcha wouldn't it?

Hey Apple, do a trade-in program for all lightning cables to convert them into USB-C cables.

Then you can safely recycle all those lightning cables instead of people tossing them in the trash.

It'd avoid a lot of e-waste since you "care about the environment" so much!

What's that? No, cause it'd cut into your profits?

Oh yeah, the real thing you care about.

probably no apple defender will even touch this post

Hopefully they'll actually have a better internal design to avoid wasting the space where the sim tray used to be (or still is in other countries). Maybe this is where they come up with room for the periscope without compromising anything else. 8GB and USB-C will be welcome changes.

Ok now go re-read my post again cause you missed 99 percent of it I guess.
What I don’t get with some of these Apple Kool-Aid consumers is that the 10th Gen iPad could have supported both Apple Pencil 1 and 2 with an optional Lightening to USB-C dongle for those who don’t want to spend to upgrade to Pencil 2. Discontinue production of Pencil 1 and everyone win. Sure the dongle is a short lived transition product but it’s better than keep producing Pencil 1 for this product knowing well aware that a future 11th or 12th Gen iPad will do away with Pencil 1 all together.

This move would also reduce production capacity and cost including waste by only producing Pencil 2.

So a worse port, “camera enhancements” when tbh the camera on the iPhone 6 is good enough, and an extra 2gb of Ram which nobody outside of this site will know or care about

Looks like the 14 Pro really is the best buy, and there’s no point in waiting for the 15 pro as it looks to be barely any step up (or arguably worse given then inferior port)

Here is an idea the MagSafe puck can have a Lightening connector for all those Lightening cables and as a bonus you can use whatever length cable you want. Nah Apple doesn’t believe in waste or do they 🤔😝

Would be even better if the MagSafe puck had a USB-C port.

Since USB-C is a worse port I expect you to not upgrade an of your iPhones past the 14 Pro. You always have the option of moving over to AndroidOS phones, oh wait 😝

You make this statement as if Apple wouldn't do a trade in of some sort...yet they would. If that happens, would your opinion change? I doubt it.

Regarding iPhone 15, Apple could:
- Keep Lightning (but EU?)
- Kill all ports, go MagSafe only
- Replace with USB-C

Not sure if USB-C will be pro only feature if iPad 10 got it

Adding a port is more waste.

USB-C if not included will either push EU and outside EU customers to products that have it or it will be another lacklustre product. Either case producing one without it is short lived and not good business sense at this point.

I hope Apple does offer some trade-in for those lightening cables and USB-A chargers tbh.

It’s ok, I don’t believe for a second Apple would use a USC-C port. The 2023 and 2024 iPhones will use lightning, and beyond that it’ll be portless

So you won’t buy any iPhone (post iPhone 14) or AndroidOS phone if your predictions does not come true. Wireless, tried it and it has limited usage and quite slow tbh.

Having frayed wires and replacing the entire puck or getting one with a longer wire is more waste. It’s a product not intelligently designed.
The puck itself has very few components in it. You're asking to ADD a component to the puck then require a cable that has components of its own. Adding needless complexity, and yes, waste to something very simple. And that includes energy wasted as the cable meets the contacts.

You're assuming here that there isn't a warehouse full of Pencil 1's that needs to be cleared out here.

I am called an Apple fanboy here often so it is funny what you're implying here.

Yes, if they did a trade-in, I'd acknowledge it. But there is a 0 percent chance they will.

I want more ram and usb c.

I also want my 13 mini. I don't want to go back to such a huge phone.
