0 percent? No way. AT LEAST 1%.I am called an Apple fanboy here often so it is funny what you're implying here.
Yes, if they did a trade-in, I'd acknowledge it. But there is a 0 percent chance they will.

Yes. And Apple only doesn't want to sell it cheaper in Europe than in the USA. Because they could lose a lot of money and get poor!! Just make it more expensive in the USA too.
Apps reload in the background way too often for a flagship phone. 8GB is bare minimum these days for a top of the line phone.Do they need 8gb? Do you constantly have your phone tell you it needs more ram to do whatever you use it for?
My thoughts exactly. No way am I being the beta tester for a new modem.Nice to see these things for the 15 - amazing we're up to 8GB of RAM on our little handheld computers now.
>> The research firm believes Apple will introduce its own 5G modem in 2024. <<
Means the iPhone 16 will probably be v1.0 of Apple's 5G modem (remembering how things went with the 1st couple of versions of Intel's 4G modem's in iPhone's and seeing how Samsung's 5G modem was on Pixel 6 i.e. troublesome)....means I'll be getting the iPhone 15 for sure now.
Apps do not run in the background in iOS period. They are put to sleep and can only interact through the APIs that are available to them. With that in mind, how could there be any other standard for a "flagship" phone?Apps reload in the background way too often for a flagship phone. 8GB is bare minimum these days for a top of the line phone.
I look forward to you telling me I was right when they don't do a trade-in.0 percent? No way. AT LEAST 1%.
Both of the things you said are incorrect 🫠Apps do not run in the background in iOS period. They are put to sleep and can only interact through the APIs that are available to them. With that in mind, how could there be any other standard for a "flagship" phone?
RAM eats into battery life slowly, the more of it you have, the more you lose. Whether the phone is in use or not. Looking at hardware components like this in terms of "GB" is always going to be wrong.
If they don't do a trade in, it does not mean you were right. Even if there is a 99.9999% chance that they DO a trade in, not doing one would have only put you in that .0001 percentile. So no, you can't be proven right here, you will never know what the chances were. But I can assure you that 0% is absolutely wrong.I look forward to you telling me I was right when they don't do a trade-in.
Ah we're doing mental gymnastics I see. Here's your gold medal. If they don't do a trade in, it does not mean you were right. Yeah, no I'm not wrong. Here, even Microsoft knows how this works: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/x...rounding/introduction-to-backgrounding-in-iosBoth of the things you said are incorrect 🫠
You already got your gold medal (only 1 allowed per event), go be a pedant elsewhere and play mental gymnastics with someone else.Yeah, no I'm not wrong. Here, even Microsoft knows how this works: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/x...rounding/introduction-to-backgrounding-in-ios
Android had serious issues with battery life until they mimicked this functionality with Doze Mode.
As for more memory affecting battery life, this is simple physics. Claiming that it's wrong means you're not only lacking the knowledge but that you also refuse to actually think about it. RAM is constantly refreshed with power, every active part of RAM is using energy at all times. More of it means more power draw.
Mental gymnastics? You're speaking in absolutes. There is no situation where, if you're claiming there is a chance of one or the other, that you could be proven right without statistics. I say it is POSSIBLE. Which means if they do, I would certainly have been right. You say it's IMPOSSIBLE, which means if they do you are certainly wrong. However, if they don't, we will never know. It's not my fault that you don't understand that your own logic puts you in this position.Ah we're doing mental gymnastics I see. Here's your gold medal.
I love this game where people think they can go in circles and end up always right and never wrong.
I say they'll never do a trade-in, 100% sure they won't. You say they may. Now if they don't do it, you end up right and I end up wrong somehow in your mind. And if they do it (which they won't), you are right and I am wrong.
Man, you're really incapable of discussion. That reply wasn't even to you...You already got your gold medal (only 1 allowed per event), go be a pedant and play mental gymnastics with someone else.
I do wonder what specialty color Apple launches in the Spring 2023 for the 14/14Pro. We got Alpine Green last year. Maybe another blue or maybe Red on the 14 Pros.all I want is a Product Red Pro Max!!!
So you won’t buy any iPhone (post iPhone 14) or AndroidOS phone if your predictions does not come true. Wireless, tried it and it has limited usage and quite slow tbh.
If you're asking if it will have moving parts, I would hope not.so, the rumored "periscope" lens - will that offer real zoom or will it be "static" just like today's 3x?
real zoom meaning you can optically zoom from 1x - 10x vs what is offered today is digitally done
Nothing had USB C in 2013, the first phone to have it was in 2015. It's the current port on virtually everything on the planet, there's nothing "aged" about USB C.I would strongly thing about not upgrading if they suddenly introduce a port which is reminiscent of a 2013 Android phone. However the next two iPhones will have lightning and after that wireless technology will be mature enough to allow for completely portless and wireless charging
I suppose I can do some research on "periscope lens" but my question is whether or not it can be achieved optically vs digitally. moving parts might be ok, but I certainly understand it won't be similar to zoom lenses found in ILS camerasIf you're asking if it will have moving parts, I would hope not.
If the parts don't move, it will have to be digital zoom of some sort - that's the only way this can work otherwise.I suppose I can do some research on "periscope lens" but my question is whether or not it can be achieved optically vs digitally. moving parts might be ok, but I certainly understand it won't be similar to zoom lenses found in ILS cameras

Hey Apple, do a trade-in program for all lightning cables to convert them into USB-C cables.
Then you can safely recycle all those lightning cables instead of people tossing them in the trash.
It'd avoid a lot of e-waste since you "care about the environment" so much!
What's that? No, cause it'd cut into your profits?
Oh yeah, the real thing you care about.
