Idk if it’s a placebo effect…I updated my phone yesterday to 26.0/1. Today my phone came off the charge at 7:43…here we are almost 14hrs later and I STILL have 24% left. I’ve used my phone as normal, I think Apple heard me complaining about battery life

I feel like this last update set my phone right again here’s to hoping….

I might be seeing the same with 26.0.1. I took my phone off charge on Friday and I still have some battery left now on Sunday morning. I was able to get two days of use on iOS 18.

I find it more difficult with OS 26 to see what's draining battery more than the last 24 hours—culprit apps. It shows the app that's obvious as you've been using it, but it feels less transparent.

i wish there was a way to see what apps are killing it in background processes etc.
Yeah the new battery chart layout is confusing for me. Then again I haven’t really spent much time time researching it so far.

I have to say I have not really noticed anything that bad on mine, my 16 pro is still on 100% with 117 cycles after buying it at launch last year. So maybe a tiny increase but tbh imperceptible and it seems to be lasting just fine.

Yeah, same here on my iPhone 16 Pro. I’m running iOS 26.0.1 with 94% battery health and 322 cycles and when compared to iOS 18, it’s pretty bad. I take my phone off the charger at 95% (since that’s my charge limit) in the morning and at around 12:00, it comes down to 20%. So I’m having to charge it twice a day (afternoon and while going to bed). I’m currently not THAT worried about it because I know we are still in the early builds and it will get better with every update. But I am a bit annoyed about it when I had great battery life in iOS 18 no matter what I threw at it.

I seem to be ok with my watch and 16ProMac phone, but my husband's watch doesn't last a day and his 16 Pro with minimal use is also running out of battery in less than a day. It's highly annoying.
He talked with Apple about another issue and was told that this app has caused major problems for a lot of people. They should have tested it more before releasing rather than using us to test it for them!!!

No change here on my 16e. Titanium is partily the reason why but don’t forget to activate Adaptive Power Mode

Apple are basically forcing users to upgrade with this iOS update.
I've put 26.1 on my 12 Mini and SE2, both still with original batteries. A few days of extra battery drain ensued, then -- that was all. Now both are working fine again. That's gotta be the worst sneaky forced upgrade ever.

My 16 pro
With iOS 26.1 , is losing about 13% battery in 1-hour
By doing just
Facebook , chrome and some occasional app usage ( no games )
And I’m closing apps when not using them
( I’m using adaptive )

My phone is 11 months old
Bought new from apple
My battery health was 98% in iOS 18

iOS 26.1 says its 94%

When I was on iOS 18. I could go half the day and only lose 10-20 %

It was the best battery life I’ve ever had

I did a factory reset 2 days ago
And that has not helped yet

Update.

It’s been 1.75 hours since I wrote down my battery usage. Is down 20% in 1.75 hours

Battery usage says
Facebook 10%
Chrome 9%
Spotify 4%

I cast Spotify to my speakers and closed the Spotify app

It's just depressing how much of a battery life hit it's taken. My daughter has a 13P with a fresh battery, and she gets the same SOT (and this is dopamine addicted teenager) on iOS 18 as I do on 16P (100% BH) on 26.

The most annoying part is that my Air gets the same SOT as the 16P, clearly all the optimisation efforts are going to the A19 devices.
