Held my friend's 16 Pro after I switched to the 16 Plus and the 16 Pro still feels so chunky and dense and unpleasant to hold compared to the 16 Plus. I think it's the extra thickness that makes it feel less comfortable than the 16 Plus.

I think its because while the Plus and Pro are just about the same weight, the Plus is a much larger phone so the weight is spread out with it. I have a 15 Plus and my wife has a 15 Pro and while my Plus is technically a heavier phone, it feels lighter in my hand than the Pro.

Yea that's exactly it, and also the Plus is thinner i believe. It just feels like a dream to hold while the 16 Pro, feels like a mini chunky brick that's top heavy.

Picked up the 16 Pro over the weekend. Really enjoying the edge-to-edge screen, 120hz, and the speeeeeed!
I agree on the weight though, it's a bit too chunky, especially with a case on.
