Pretty happy with my UG2 too, fit is spot on and seems good for minimal fingerprints.
Maybe your screen panel alignment is defective. Reason I say is this because a few people had this issue with Apple not being able to apply the belkin in store. They exchange the device and it applied first time. The Belkin UG2 is terrible. They installed 3 on my Pro Max in the Apple Store today and they all had issues with installation. They ended up refunding me and told me to just keep the last one on my phone until I can replace it with a better one.
I’m using an original Apple Silicone cover which have the raised lip too. Somehow the border cracked while being in my pocket (nothing else in the pocket). That's odd, using mine for 2 weeks now, not a scratch. I use the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case with, and there is a slight raised lip, approx. 1.5mm, with should prevent any impact on the screen.
Yeah, this is more likely an issue with the phone than the screen protector.Maybe your screen panel alignment is defective. Reason I say is this because a few people had this issue with Apple not being able to apply the belkin in store. They exchange the device and it applied first time.
Mine too I have three in my house and everyone is good. I actually prefer this screen to my old fave bodyguardzThat's odd, using mine for 2 weeks now, not a scratch. If your screen is not perfectly level, screen protectors will not adhere properly. If it’s only one screen protector that won’t adhere it’s probably that protector, but once more than a few won’t adhere it becomes much more likely to be a defective screen. One person on this forum had approximately 10 screen protectors installed at the Apple Store before the employee finally realized the phone was the issue. Subsequently there have been others with the same problem with their screens.Really? Can someone explain why?
That was me. My screen was defective 🫣If your screen is not perfectly level, screen protectors will not adhere properly. Glad to hear it!Itsedstech Thank you for suggesting I exchange the device. No issues with the Belkin screen protector now.
Did you get Apple Genius to keep trying to put on more Belkin screen protectors so that they could see for themselves ?if so goodItsedstech Thank you for suggesting I exchange the device. No issues with the Belkin screen protector now.

FloLab has confirmed they are working on a new version with thinner black borders (no covering of screen) which should be released sometime this month. They are also working on a “Hot Bending Curved Glass”-version which should cover even more of the front screen.Any word on a 100% edge to edge coverage screen protector yet? thinking of going case less on my 16PM but going fully without a screen protector is too much 😂
Will they name this differently? Will there be some way to know this is the edge to edge? Btw you guys have done your research thanks all!FloLab has confirmed they are working on a new version with thinner black borders (no covering of screen) which should be released sometime this month. I hope and think so. If they are the first to introduce a new revised version that fits perfectly and every other manufacturer still can’t there’s a chance they could sell a lot. Will they name this differently? For now I would say Belkin UltraGlass 2 for fit but not strength. What is the best screen protector for the 16 Pro?
Is that the one you get from the Apple Store and they install it for you?For now I would say Belkin UltraGlass 2 for fit but not strength.
