Do you have a shot of the usb port with the iPhone installed. I’m still trying to ascertain if it will fit with my usual Anker Powerline III Floe usb cables. As my current cheap leather one doesn’t. Cheers.

It’s a close fit using the Apple supplied cable.

I just bought the green Tech Woven for my Cosmic Orange Pro Max and, while it looks neat and I like the material, I don’t want to hide the color of this specific phone. So I'm considering returning it.

I wish there was a decent clear case available NOW, but there isn’t. They all have that really ugly MagSafe ring clashing with the Apple logo (and I don’t even use a MagSafe charger), and almost all of them cover the plateau which I don’t want.

Brands like Spigen, ESR, and Ringke all failed to put out a simple clear case at launch.

This Torras clear case is available now. It’s a great price, it’s all clear, no MagSafe clashing with Apple logo, CC button, no camera plateau covering.

Just purely showcasing your Cosmic Orange like you’d want. I think that’s a solid option based on what you mentioned.

I’m curious about this too. Mine arrives tomorrow—I’ll do some tests and post what I find here.
Ookla shows no drop in speed here with my Andar Aspen case on my 17 PM. I live in a very rural area where my service provider still only provides DSL, 12 down 2 up max. But for my business I have a cellular router and a unidirectional antenna mounted on a 30' pole pointing at a Verizon tower nearby. This is the speed I've been getting with that setup hard-wired, so wireless speed in the same range is awesome.

Sadly, it’s still not on the Torras Amazon UK store (where I am), they only have the MagSafe and frosted/2-tone ones. But I’ll keep watching for it.

Really happy with it.

I always apply it to usb c port area and now this time to the plateau as well.

Looks awesome!

How hard is a wet install to do?

Also can we see some pics of where you have the sides wrapped?

Thanks hope this ships to US quick. Tempting since bogo ends in less than a day

Speaking of usb-c areas, I’m thinking about getting a full body skin for my 17 Pro Max. But I think full body skins are meant to be rocked naked, and don’t think it would too case-friendly. Thoughts?

Its not my device its my partner so do not have it with me right now.

Install is easy just dont spray it too much as it will take longer to dry.

Ive done the bottom, plateau and modified pieces around the buttons.

Dont know about shipping to US but you can always drop them email. Lee replies back pretty quickly.

Ive used full wrap with Apple silicone cases before but this one has weaker point around the CC button. You can modifyz

Andar came through with flying colors: U.S. warehouse, fast shipping, great tracking, everything went perfectly. Suti and a few others could learn a thing or two from them.

A couple of things to mention regarding build quality. The fit is very good for a leather case, which I don’t expect to fit as perfectly as a molded TPU case. I’d say it’s on par with the old Apple leather cases. There is a slight bulge in the lip (very slight) above the camera control, and the clearance at the USB port is tight, but neither are a big deal. The buttons are very good—clicky and precise, with no rattles. Probably the biggest drawback is the weight, which is 37 grams, compared to 32 for the Beats, and 21(!) for the Apple Clear. With the Aspen on the Air it’s still lighter than the naked 17 Pro Max by 20 grams, so it’s not a deal killer for me.

There was some question about the metal camera ring and whether it might affect reception. I ran some tests using Ookla and the results were consistent with and without the case on, so no worries there. This was with the case on:

I haven’t had a leather case in a while, pretty much since Apple quit making them. I had forgotten how much I enjoy the feel of leather cases, and this Andar, on this phone, is luxurious. We’ll see how it weathers over time, but for now I’m stoked.
i believe this is only with the pro models due to the antenna around the plateau

I just looked at the images of all the 17 phones, and I think you are right. From a visual perspective, only the Pro models have the antenna band surrounding the bump.

I have this one on my Cosmic Orange Pro Max and I'm happy with it. This version has the kick stand, which I find useful, but they do a version without it. Also, all buttons are covered, including camera control, plus the camera plateau is protected.
