At the risk of sounding slightly hyperbolic, I have to say that I’m enjoying this phone/case combination more than just about any since the iPhone X. I have a Pitaka and an Arc Pulse coming (eventually), but if neither arrive I’d be perfectly satisfied with this setup. Happy camper here; great phone, great case, light as a feather, and gorgeous (IMO).

Is this the Apple clear case or another brand? Any dust trapped under and visible through daily use?

It’s the Apple. I’m seeing very little dust after ~10 days. I suspect if it was on a black phone, it would be a different story. Also, I almost always keep the phone in the dedicated pocket of a sling bag, not in a jeans pocket, so it’s probably exposed to less dust and lint than normal. Keep in mind too, that the version for the Pro with its larger openings may accumulate more dust.

That is a thing of beauty :)

Can anyone locate these on Amazon?
This is the fat aluminum ones like the Ringke ones I've used in the past.

be careful when removing the case. mine cracked near the cc button when carefully removing it.

Yea, that's where I've seen them. I'm sure they will be on Amazon sooner or later.
Just make sure to stay away from glass. I had a glass one that cracked so I removed it and I had anxiety removing it. I for sure thought it was going to pull some of the aluminum up with how tough it was pulling at it to remove it.

Torras Ostand Q3 Air in Shadow Black on my Cosmic Orange Pro 17 Max. Possibly my favorite case I've ever owned.

I think I’m sold. Is the back grippy? I have found frosted plastic back to be slippery on other cases I’ve tried. Is this one any better? And the sides do look to have good grip so would you say overall it’s a grippy case?

I got a Techwoven today and I am sending it back. The top corners pop off the phone way too easily. And my anker usb cable doesn’t fit in the phone because the opening is too small. Really torn because the case looks and feels absolutely amazing otherwise.

Did you start at the plateau or the open bottom when removing? Not sure which is better for this case…
i started at the top near plateau. but i think the key to removing cases now that we have the plateau is to start at the bottom. lesson learned. i’m using the ghost rn but might order another shadow case. should have gone with the white air instead of black. i bet i’d notice much less dust and fingerprints.

I removing it from camera side - top and bottom at once a never had problem.

yeah that might be the way to do it. half on top, half on bottom. i saw a video on dbrand’s site showing proper way to remove ghost was at the bottom. but your way seems like it would be less stress on the case. ig the normal way to do things is you buy a case and keep it on the phone until you get rid of it. you know, what normal people do.

I've applied the matte protector for my iPhone 17 Pro plateau from Xtremeskins. It's almost invisible which i really liked.
They’re in the UK. How’s their shipping to US?

I see they have clear gloss. Looks like you got clear matte?

Picked up the tech woven case today, so far I’m liking it, feels nice, fit is good (as it should be). Lip is very minimal with a screen protector fitted, the ESR clear case has a decent lip, but this will still be ok.

Hard choice in colour, it’s good you can try the display cases on your phone. I went in looking to get the purple case for my blue pro max, but the green and sienna looked great too. I’d already decided against blue and black as I like to contrast my cases against my phone.

Ended up sending a pic of the 3 cases to my wife, she said green. I tried it again in store, and bought one. Funnily enough, after trying them in person, purple was last of the 3 as far as my liking went. I was very close to going sienna too, I’ll see how I go with green over the next 14 days.

Colour of the case on the phone looks a bit different as the pic was taken with our iPad Pro M4.

Perhaps I’m confused, but doesn’t the “T” indicate the inclusion of a camera control button (T for touch)?
Ultra Hybrid T has a button for camera control. However this year the back is not fully clear. It is similar to Apple's clear case with the bottom half covered in either Orange/Blue/Black/White.

Last year, for the 16 Pro/Pro Max, the Ultra Hybrid had an opening for camera control button. There was no protection for the button and is completely exposed. This year for the 17 Pro/Pro Max, the camera control has a thin TPU cover.

Wanted a fully clear case, which only the Ultra Hybrid offers. Was under the impression that I will have to get the Hybrid 'T' to get covering for the button but then it would not have been a clear case. So I am very glad that this year's normal Ultra Hybrid has a covering for the button and is a fully clear case.

So, this year 'T' offers camera control button but back is not fully clear and normal Ultra Hybrid is fully clear with a thin TPU covering over the button.

If anyone is considering the Benks ArmorPro, I just received one yesterday, and it is going back. There are parts of the top and sides that do not fit tightly, so for example, my Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 Pro is showing random areas of orange around the lip of the case. It doesn't look as nice as the Techwoven, where you can see the full color outline of the phone around the lip.

I don't have another camera to take a photo, but this review does a good job showing it.

I ordered mine for the 17PM direct from Benks before my 17PM arrived. I also ordered the Montage Armor Pro.
I love it and it is absolutel slim. I will get my Caudabe Synthesis Frosted today and should get the Sheath Precise somewhen in the next year or so(!) and I am not sure if I want to switch to a thicker case.

I also saw that Video and I absolutely don`t have that issue with both of my cases.

Normally lurk on here but thought I’d share. Wanted to go caseless this year as usual but with the aluminium seeming a bit more prone to damage wanted some form of protection.

First case was Torres ultra thin clear - was far from thin, just a basic clear soft case - returned

Apple silicone - nice enough but too grippy to pocket, returned

Tech woven - nice but a bit bulky and not convinced worth the money quality wise, visible glue etc, returned

Nudient thin clear case - no good, felt basic, recessed buttons not nice, let loads of dust in, returned

Sticking with the below, memumi ultra slim case, actually nice quality, cheap which is good as these ultra thin cases need replaced after an outdoor drop. As a previous caudabe veil / peel case user I think this is pretty much as good and a third of the price. Thought this might help for anyone that basically wants caseless feel but hates the scuffs and scratches.
