Edit: Oh yeah, I also thought the Urban Fit T looked nice, but would rather a different color. Then, I looked up the weight on Spigen's website and saw it was about 46g. Too heavy, IMO, for an aramid based case, but I guess it's essentially a dressed up Enzo since they didn't make one for the Air?
Oh wow, 46 grams is a tank. I’ll scratch that one off my list. Thanks!

Looks like Pitaka has problems with fitments for Air...
I also must say, that my piece of Pitaka Ultra Slim (that I already return) can be taken off very easily.
I also had fitting issues with Pitaka on my 15PM. One of the corners always popped out, had to return two cases but the third still had this problem. And despite this, the case was almost impossible to get off the (rest of the) phone. 😂

See here’s the thing for me when it comes to thin aramid cases, the fit differs EVERY SINGLE CASE. Pitaka last year for the 16PM fit terrible but this year for the 17PM, it’s perfect and tight. Same with Benks, I have an ArmorGrid that fits tight af that you can barely get it off the phone and if you speak to someone else, the fit is just ok. What screws people and is who create is we will say something is great because we have a perfect model but then someone goes to order one and the model that they get off the production line fits terrible and everyone is looking at us crazy. The variance in the QC of cases these days sucks.

I'm done with Pitaka. Their cases perfectly fits for me only on iPhone XR that has rounded sides.
With every newer iPhone I had fitment issues (12, 13Pro, 14ProMax, 16ProMax, Air). Despite Pitaka sends me few replacements, it's shame, that every single case is different and also fits different.
iPhone Air was the last time when I tried Pitaka or other Aramid cases.

There should be some massive design change that will push me try it in the future.

Sorry... missed it up thread.. what case is this?

Color “E”

I just found this on AliExpress: $24.29 | Orange Metal Lens Frame Carbon Fiber Pattern Phone Case For iPhone 17 Pro Max 17 Pro Magnetic Wireless Charging Protect Cover

Received my Caudabe yesterday. Love it. Beautiful finished and nice and tight fitting Also the buttons work like a charm, very easy to operati.

Way better as the transparant case from Apple with the funny white part on the back. After one week I already had some cracks withe the transparant apple case on the corners of that case.

Lots say it’s body and not rounded edges and a little too much lip?

In my humble opinion and only one comparisment, no not to much lip. Feels very safe. When you take a 17 PM you know you have relative big phone, so I think it is oke for me. If it was on the air, yes probably a bit to much though.

I’ve had 4-5 Pitakas that fit great, two that didn’t. My bigger concern are these new designs where they have metal parts resting directly on glass, which is mind boggling. It’s hard to believe it’s on purpose, but I can’t see that it isn’t.

Pitaka’s main competitor is Benks. I’ve actually had a much higher rate of defective cases from them, with all sorts of flaws in the fiber layup, poor fit, rattling buttons, loose camera surrounds, and so forth.

I’ve had two cases from Latercase. Both had at least one loose corner. They also had some rough patches in the finish. Returned both.

The bottom line is that all of these aramid fiber case makers need to tighten up their QC.

Bellroy innovera case showed up today. While I don't mind the feel in the hand, it has zero screen lip if you have a screen protector installed and the camera control button isn't responding to any of my swipes :(
