Love the look of the TechWoven (one of the best looking cases for the 17 Pro in my opinion), but have seen/heard enough examples of people dropping them and there being damage to the phone, particularly when you use a screen protector with it as there's no lip/raised edge. One of the best case reviewers on YouTube (MobileReviewsEh) said similar - it looks great, and the back protection is fair, but you wouldn't want to drop it face down on the screen.
If it had better drop protection I'd be all over it but I'm just not convinced.
Seems like a lot of cases this release don’t have a lot of screen protection / raise-ivity.Love the look of the TechWoven (one of the best looking cases for the 17 Pro in my opinion), but have seen/heard enough examples of people dropping them and there being damage to the phone, particularly when you use a screen protector with it as there's no lip/raised edge. I don’t use a screen protector and I normally use ultra slim cases so drop protection isn’t something of my concerns.Love the look of the TechWoven (one of the best looking cases for the 17 Pro in my opinion), but have seen/heard enough examples of people dropping them and there being damage to the phone, particularly when you use a screen protector with it as there's no lip/raised edge. Is this case on Amazon yet?
That pitaka looks pretty good and being 10g less than a sheath is a plus.
How does it feel in hand compared to the caudable? Slippery?
What about lip protection? Is there still some lip when using a screen protector?
I would wait until it hits Amazon.I have this Pitaka case in my cart and even used a 10% off code but I’m a little apprehensive as I’ve never used this brand before, and I don’t know if it’ll be bulky with the 17PM, especially the sides. The one I like is $80 and is out of stock, which is good because I probably would’ve bought it.

It’s the ProGuard. The one I want is the UltraI would wait until it hits Amazon.
This the ultra with the weird CC button?

WOW, you have really bad luck for AIR cases!Received the TineeOwl for iPhone Air from Amazon today. It’ll be going back. Here are the issues with my copy:
The version for the 16 Pro Max was far better, and was actually competitive with the Sheath in my opinion. This version is not even in the ballpark. The only thing it has going for it is the grippy texture and rounded edges—it’s quite comfortable to hold.
- The camera control button is inconsistent—it works fine, then it doesn’t. Super annoying.
- The CC button also bulges out at the side.
- The action button is stiff.
- There is a visible gap between the lip of the case and the USB port.
- There is a subtle MagSafe bump that will undoubtedly get worse with use.
- The overall fit is on the loose side.
- 45 grams.

Leather Case for iPhone Air

Or shall I be the guinea pig ?
Looks like full protection on the bottom of the phone with big enough cutout for bigger than standard usb c plugs. Tempted to get one.

Lucky for me im based not in the US
But is it covered in the lint the whole time? Now that I switched from the Ghost to the Apple silicone, the AS is a dream to hold, feels like butter in the hand, comfortable, thin and light weight.
I’m not sure luck has anything to do with it. I suspect the thin form factor of the Air has proven to be a major challenge for the designers at third party case manufacturers, none of whom had an actual phone to work with. If any of them bother to update their designs, I suspect the next iterations will mostly have these issues resolved.WOW, you have really bad luck for AIR cases!
I must say, that I'm fully satisfied with Arc Pulse. I only hope that this matte finish is same like on Lisa AlterEgo version for 16PM - no scratches after 3,5 months.
Me too. He’s one of the only tech YouTubers who maintains independence from the manufacturers, which gives his reviews greater credibility. He’s also one of the only using a set of objective test criteria. Consequently, his reviews end up being much more valuable than those of the typical influencer.Side comment: I like MobileReviewsEh channel and content!
I keep forgetting BF is coming up. I never participate so I always forget. I’ll email and ask them. The Ultra reminds me of my old Evutec case, with the weave wrapped around the edges and fused TPU core and covered with smooth resin. Those were nice cases, and to me, nicer than the Pro, or the style where the material is more a veneer/inlay for decorative purposes, like with most "wood" cases.
They only list the thickness and weight on their site, but email them and ask; it would also serve as a test of their responsiveness.
BF is month away, and if there is no hurry, I'd wait and purchase when the sales are in effect.
I found the Apple silicone case to be slippery.. is it just me? or do they break in and get grippy? Now that I switched from the Ghost to the Apple silicone, the AS is a dream to hold, feels like butter in the hand, comfortable, thin and light weight.
