Anyone else get their PDFK (Post-Delivery Finishing Kit) from Caudabe yet? Mine finally arrived this morning after waiting nearly a month, looking forward to completing my Sheath and being able to use it normally. Wanted the 'Open' nail file but that's delayed until mid-January so settled for the Precise.

...so who is going to post this on their reddit? LOL

I have completely walked away from Caudabe this year. Have a small rotation I’m happy with, and Caudabe has failed for me this year.
1. OtterBox Cactus
2. Mous Black Leather
3. Apple Tech Woven
4. RhinoShield Solid X (this would be number 1, but it’s worse with finger prints than carbon fiber.

It's an absolutely fantastic case. Strikes the perfect balance between protective and lightweight.
So ... the MagSafe magnets on my 15 Pro Max dbrand grip case were really good.

The 17 Pro dbrand grip MagSafe magnets are a vice grip, lol. Crazy strong. Very happy here!

Think Fast: Pitaka UltraGuard, Dbrand Grip, or Mous THIN fiber case? && go??
dbrand grip... tho this is one of those cases you want to put on and leave forever cuz of how well it fits.

I'm not expecting to use anything else going forward. lol

I have used Pitaka Air in the past with the 15 Pro Max - but I want something I can drop and the phone survive. Also I promised myself this year - just 1 case . (I had like 7 for my 15 Pro Max).

I’d love to try a Grip if dBrand sold on Amazon.

Wish I could order the Grip to try out but with shipping and taxes this would set me back $ 81 🥴 and that is a gamble I'm not willing to take lol, considering I'd have to cover return shipping costs (like with Nomad to China... that was an expensive try out o_O).
How long do the skins last on the Grip cases?

How’s the Grip feel in the hand though?

Mine lasted almost 2 years and was going strong. They're heavy duty. And I took that case hiking, I've dropped it on rocks, etc. lol

Yeah that shipping from Canada was not cheap - I did the rushed shipping too. lol - but I had used one for almost 2 years before (15 Pro Max) - so I knew what to expect.

The feel of the case is the biggest reason why I'm buying it. The way it grips your hand makes the case feel better than most. Instead of having to support the case, the case "grips" your hand and rests on different parts of your hand instead of your pinky. It's hard to explain - but the feeling of the case is why I'm going back to it.

Yes, it's a little larger than the Apple Techwoven, but the Techwoven's grippy sides are slippery compared to the dbrand grip.

I have a massive 10,000 mAh Anker MagSafe battery attached to the back of my iPhone 17 Pro with the dbrand grip and ... with two fingers I can lift the phone up cuz the grippy sides are crazy grippy. I couldn't do that with the Apple case without squeezing really hard cuz it's slipperier.

That grip makes using this case amazing. And it stays that way for years. Feels lighter and easier to hold because of the case. Picking this up off the table is so nice with this case.

I'm biased tho, I had one on my 15 Pro Max for 2+ years and loved it. They did an even better job with the 17 Pro.

In the end of the day, for me - feel in the hand (utility) is #1.

Agreed, I live next to an Amazon warehouse. Would have loved to next day air this thing with my Prime membership. Haha.

That said, I did pay for the $22 fast shipping (I wanted it now) - they shipped it yesterday and got it to me today (FedEx) - normally takes awhile from Canada. lol
