Dbrand Grip really is a super solid case. Kinda bothered about removing camera lens covers and definitely not happy about charge port cut out being so small BUT beyond that it really feels good in hand. Balanced. MagSafe good and magnety. Grippy but not overly grippy. Good buttons. Fits tight. Good face down lip. Looks good. Only thing that would make it better is bad I got it on sale like the one they have going on now.

Do I want to put my cosmic orange skin on it or leave it black…?

Crappy lighting aside definitely looks more “golden” than cosmic orange for sure

Was gonna say sadly (and fortunately) they don’t sell it here.

Also, Suti has buy one get one free BF sale on now. And they’ve updated their clear phone back so the MagSafe ring looks better with the apple logo

If their clear phone back is anything like the one I had on my 15PM, it’ll scratch as soon as you look at it. The clear phone back from Matter is much better when it comes to scratch protection.

I forgot to mention that a second Alpine Orange Süti phone back showed up in my mailbox earlier this week.

Ordered a Dbrand grip and it supposedly shipped out the next day??? Tracking isn’t available but it’s through Amazon?

And on another note Alpaka is having their Black Friday sale flight pro bag as well as a lot of others are on sale. I picked up a mini tech sling (1.5L) and a flight 2l for $70+ bucks shipped.
Dbrand.com ordered and delivered via Amazon? Is this legit?

I can’t do perfect. And didn’t get it. Was gonna try to peel up and re do but it’s going to stretch and look worse than if I just leave it be.

It’ll do. It ain’t bad unless you really look at it.

Yes I followed this:

really like the grip on my previous iphones but i just cant get over the camera cutout... looks like a tumour hump going over the iphone

You saying it’s chunky has ruled it out for me plus the charging port.

I see phone rebel is a mixed bag too with quality.

I am now left debating between sheath and mous limitless.

@macher you have the 17 Pro or Pro Max? I see you prefer sheath over silicone, it’s the weight difference a lot?

how’s the in hand feel, curvature on the back/sides?

Yes I followed this:

dbrand seems so last decade with their skin installs. The skin company that has the skinny in the middle removal strip, where you can line up the edges and cutouts first, and then just remove the thin middle strip to set it seems like the way to go.

Used them both, Sheath is my current daily and i returned the mous. Mous has too many QC issues such as bowing on the frame, sharp corners and it makes the phone very boxy. Sheath is refined and handles much better. Its also protective and even covers the plateau.

I have the Pro. The Sheath weighs 14g more than the Apple Silicone.

When I first got the Sheath I was switching between the Apple Silicone because of the weight. Then one day I said f it, I’m going to run the Sheath no matter what. Then I got used to the weight. Now it’s no problem.

IMO the Sheath aligns second best when it comes to form factor. Curved smooth edges to the back, not boxy.

Here’s the specs of the Sheath and Apple Silicone. As you see the only difference is the depth.

Sheath
153.6 x 75.9 x 13
44g

Apple silicone
154.4 x 76.5 x 12.1
30g
