My Grip is out for delivery today; meanwhile the Aulumu I have been peeping is at a all time low price and can be delivered tomorrow. Choices...

Aulumu Rugged looks interesting.

Got my pocket today……I quite like it!

Dbrand Grip initial thoughts: feels great in hand. Seems kinda chunky around sides. It definitely fits tight around camera area; so tight I had to remove my Spigen individual camera lens covers for case to fit. Am immediately flustered that I throw case on and jump in truck and my USB C cord won’t let phone charge as it’s “too big” and springs out.

This is a solid case. I think I’m going to enjoy it.

EDIT: did some scientific MagSafe shaking; it’s good.

The Onyx is usually one of my go-to cases for every phone, but it's disappointing Ringke didn't bother with a CC button. That's the only reason I never even gave it a look this time around. It does look really good, though.
Sort of designed like the Paragon? I like that it has a “matte” back.

Why don’t you like not having a CC button? I kind of like how silver could look without a CC button on certain cases.

If chucky I won’t like it.

If the Paragon were a TPU case, yeah. The Onyx always feels awesome in the hand and I love cases that have the raised front top and bottom but drop down on the sides of the screen.

My biggest issue with no CC button isn't aesthetics, but rather that TPU cases without them tend to be flimsy around that edge of the screen.

Hypothetically if the Onyx had a CC button, how would you compare it to the Paragon?

The Paragon is more substantial, for sure. But in your case, you'd probably love the Onyx's light weight. I've always felt like the Onyx was well done on every phone I've had it for. In fact, I have it right now for my Pixel 10 Pro XL and S25 Ultra and love it on both.

My only gripe is their color choices. They always have black, dark green, and camo. For the Pixel they have a mint color, but it doesn't get PixelSnap. Never made any sense to only put Magsafe/PixelSnap in certain colors and not others.

At this point I’m used to the weight of the Sheath. In terms of protection I’m assuming the Paragon offers more protection?

The Paragon is definitely more protective, but the Onyx is impressively protective for a thinner case. Of course, the Paragon has the back some consider slippery while the Onyx has a Sheath-like pattern on the back. The Onyx has a nice pattern on either side for added grip, as well.

Apple Techwoven vs Caudabe Sheath anyone?

Sheath will be more protective, but heavier. Techwoven feels amazing in the hand and looks great.

But between the two I'd go Sheath for the protection and the fact that it has the option of the covered camera plateau. Also, because you can customize the buttons to make it more unique.
