I spent most of last year in extremely minimal cases (or caseless), babying the phone all the time, which frankly gets tiring after a while. I’m enjoying having a couple of cases in the rotation that allow me to toss the phone around without a worry. The nice thing today is that it no longer takes something as bulky as a Defender or Monarch to get that level of protection; cases like the Limitless and Rebel provide more than enough.

Speaking of, my Air in the Limitless is nearly 100 grams lighter than my old 16PM in the PR Gen 6. It’s a tough combo for how light it is.
i totally understand what you’re saying. i went caseless for years and it is a lot of work, especially if you’re OCD like i am and can’t live with a scratched phone. that’s why i always look for screen protection because i don’t want to even think about being careful where or how i place my phone down.

Why not? The Paragon may be next on my hit list?
Make no mistake the Paragon is a great case, I just can’t use it for more than a day. I haven’t used cases since March of this year. I’ve used skins and phone backs when I had my 15PM and that’s what I’m used to. QSkinz this year went with 1 piece skins for the 17 series and I hate them so I stopped using skins as well.

The Paragon will be used when I’m going to spend the night away from home.

I have the flex. Really liking it but finding the back scratches fairly easily. Also had the Gen 7 but sent it back due to scratching. Felt really good in hand and didn’t feel too bulky
How are the exposed edges? Is the transition from phone to case sharp?

Are you able to share pics? Curious to see and see the scratches

I’m leaning to Dbrand grip but not sold 100%. I had the rebel flex on my XS, that was a dream. Someone here said it’s becoming over engineered

Why can’t you use it for more than a day? Does it get uncomfortable to handle?

Finally my silver 17 Pro Max is here. Currently have Ringke Onyx Camo as a temporary case.

Fit is really good as always, it’s a shame that it doesn’t have CC button :(

No it’s not uncomfortable to hold or handle. I’m just used to not using cases. The 15PM was titanium, so I did not have to worry about accumulating any more scratches and dents that I already had, and that helped me get used to not using a case. I’m more aware of where and how I sit my phone down, and which pockets is in, to prevent scratches. I still use a screen protector on the front.

I like feeling the exposed sides of the device. I just have to be more careful when handling my device. Luckily I have AppleCare+.

Replacement Sheath buttons came today, soooo much better.
Great to hear that! My Sheath stock buttons are 💯 but the silver buttons aren’t. They are sending me replacement.

I consolidated my cases and put the Apple Silicone back in the box and running the Sheath. For me the Sheath is closest to the Apple Silicone vibe but with much more protection.

The Onyx is usually one of my go-to cases for every phone, but it's disappointing Ringke didn't bother with a CC button. That's the only reason I never even gave it a look this time around. It does look really good, though.
