Now I like that: interesting take on moulding round the Plateau. Like the fact it doesn't make an additional shape out of the plateau, it blends it into the shape of the case. Another one for the wishlist methinks...

What does it feel like in hand? Does it add much bulk to the phone? I have a Pro Max, so whilst I'm happy with the size, I don't like 'thick' cases. The TechWoven is pushing it, this looks like it's of a similar vein?

Yea but the Air seems a lot different than the Gen 7 to me. The Air seems very simple.
It’s a slimmed down version with integrated buttons and no Aramid Fibre, but it has a lot of the features of the Gen7. The claws, the form factor, the grip texture on the sides, the TPU I would assume… I’ll compare the two when (if) it arrives.

Seems like Germany has lots of logistical issues with getting cases?

Nah it’s just sometimes you have bad luck if you order as many cases as I have 😂… I’ve had a lot of cases arrive from abroad without a problem (Mous and Ryan London from the UK, Nomad from China, PR Air from the US (via Amazon))…

Grip feels easier to hold because you don’t have to grab your phone as tightly as with other slippery cases.

The real problem for me personally (as it also my first max size phone) is the back texture. Sometimes it’s crucial when using one handed…
Sheath should arrive next week, now using Decoded leather and it’s much better than OB Symmetry but also want to try Mous. Which model is less slippery at the back? Leather?

A lot of people don’t regard that. It’s the same for me , the back is as crucial as the sides. My hands and fingers don’t like a slippery back even if the side grip is good. My 3 fingers rest on the back.

I much prefer the same all around texture like the Sheath. Lots report that the Sheath is too rough but it’s not even close to being rough to me.

I had a DeCoded leather for my 15PM, and over the two years I had it, it performed really well. I did condition it and clean it, but even so, never went slippery or less grippy. I'd happily go DeCoded again, however, I've seen on another thread that the alu. camera lip marks quite easily-my previous model had one shiny corner after two years, concerned that this would scratch up quickly.

Didn’t use it enough but I can assure you that aluminum cover will scratch. It’s probably just paint, not anodized or blackened like old film slrs cameras. Also a few buttons are slightly (very slightly) askew… BUT the handling is extremely nice, the right amount of grippiness. Case is very snug, the frame edge is showing but that’s a leather thing.

Anyone else having issues with the Tech Woven cases staying fulling attached / clicking? Every time I pick up my 17 PM it kind of pops back into place like it's constantly, slightly disconnecting and then when I squeeze it by picking it up it pops back into place. Kind of driving me crazy.

to me it does not follow at all. the first time i held mine i thought i was holding an otterbox, to me it felt super boxy and chunky

but it does feel like i could launch it at a wall and its gonna survive
It actually feels pretty good on the Air. I think because it’s so much thinner than the Pro version, the edges are less noticeable. It also seems they’ve rounded the back edges just a bit. It’s not as comfortable as the Apple cases, but it’s nowhere near as bad as the older versions for the 15PM and 16PM.
