Yea but the Air seems a lot different than the Gen 7 to me. The Air seems very simple.I mean I have the PR Air 2 and really like it so I assume I’ll like the Gen 7, too. If it ever arrives.

Now I like that: interesting take on moulding round the Plateau. Like the fact it doesn't make an additional shape out of the plateau, it blends it into the shape of the case. Another one for the wishlist methinks...
It’s a slimmed down version with integrated buttons and no Aramid Fibre, but it has a lot of the features of the Gen7. The claws, the form factor, the grip texture on the sides, the TPU I would assume… I’ll compare the two when (if) it arrives.Yea but the Air seems a lot different than the Gen 7 to me. Seems like Germany has lots of logistical issues with getting cases? It’s a slimmed down version with integrated buttons and no Aramid Fibre, but it has a lot of the features of the Gen7. Nah it’s just sometimes you have bad luck if you order as many cases as I have 😂… I’ve had a lot of cases arrive from abroad without a problem (Mous and Ryan London from the UK, Nomad from China, PR Air from the US (via Amazon))…Seems like Germany has lots of logistical issues with getting cases?
Grip feels easier to hold because you don’t have to grab your phone as tightly as with other slippery cases. Now I like that: interesting take on moulding round the Plateau. What does it feel like in hand? Does it add much bulk to the phone? I have a Pro Max, so whilst I'm happy with the size, I don't like 'thick' cases. The TechWoven is pushing it, this looks like it's of a similar vein?
Is it chunkier than the Tech Woven?Grip feels easier to hold because you don’t have to grab your phone as tightly as with other slippery cases.
It is, but this is my first ‘Max’-sized phone, so bulky cases don’t really feel as bulky as on a smaller phonesIs it chunkier than the Tech Woven?
A lot of people don’t regard that. It’s the same for me , the back is as crucial as the sides. My hands and fingers don’t like a slippery back even if the side grip is good. My 3 fingers rest on the back. The real problem for me personally (as it also my first max size phone) is the back texture. Sometimes it’s crucial when using one handed…
Sheath should arrive next week, now using Decoded leather and it’s much better than OB Symmetry but also want to try Mous. Which model is less slippery at the back? Leather?
I’d say leather or speckled fabric.Sheath should arrive next week, now using Decoded leather and it’s much better than OB Symmetry but also want to try Mous. Which model is less slippery at the back? Leather?
The Mous has been significantly slimmed down. I don’t currently have both in hand, but I’d assume the Mous.Which is the least chunky / bulky, the Mous or the Grip?
I had a DeCoded leather for my 15PM, and over the two years I had it, it performed really well. I did condition it and clean it, but even so, never went slippery or less grippy. I'd happily go DeCoded again, however, I've seen on another thread that the alu. camera lip marks quite easily-my previous model had one shiny corner after two years, concerned that this would scratch up quickly. The real problem for me personally (as it also my first max size phone) is the back texture. If the Mous follows the form factor of the iPhone then it could be a banger. The Mous has been significantly slimmed down. I don’t currently have both in hand, but I’d assume the Mous.
I have the Mous black leather. Great case, solid fit & buttons, much improved CC & lighter than the sheath. If the Mous follows the form factor of the iPhone then it could be a banger.
Is it boxy / square or has nice rounded edges?I have the Mous black leather. Great case, solid fit & buttons, much improved CC & lighter than the sheath.
It has nice square edges. 😆Is it boxy / square or has nice rounded edges?
to me it does not follow at all. the first time i held mine i thought i was holding an otterbox, to me it felt super boxy and chunkyIf the Mous follows the form factor of the iPhone then it could be a banger.
Didn’t use it enough but I can assure you that aluminum cover will scratch. It’s probably just paint, not anodized or blackened like old film slrs cameras. Also a few buttons are slightly (very slightly) askew… BUT the handling is extremely nice, the right amount of grippiness. Case is very snug, the frame edge is showing but that’s a leather thing.I had a DeCoded leather for my 15PM, and over the two years I had it, it performed really well. It actually feels pretty good on the Air. I think because it’s so much thinner than the Pro version, the edges are less noticeable. It also seems they’ve rounded the back edges just a bit. It’s not as comfortable as the Apple cases, but it’s nowhere near as bad as the older versions for the 15PM and 16PM.to me it does not follow at all. the first time i held mine i thought i was holding an otterbox, to me it felt super boxy and chunky
but it does feel like i could launch it at a wall and its gonna survive
No good, someone said like holding an OtterboxIt has nice square edges. 😆
