There are some event-day hands-on videos with the bumper and clear case that I have already tried.
I'm in the same boat. I decided to take the plunge on a silver and I'm going to try both a black skin with an open camera plateau case or just go with a case where the plateau is covered.
On the Pitaka, I like how the aramid fiber climbs part way up the plateau before giving way to the metal rim. It makes the opening look smaller and the transition smoother. Ironically, the Benks metal ring looks more like last year’s Pitaka—sharper and more abrupt—while last year’s Benks had the softer look. These two companies are always chasing one another… lol.
I do prefer the climb to the plateau on Pitaka vs the sharpness of Benks.
I’m also so glad Pitaka finally doesn’t have the huge branding on the bottom of the case, I honestly hated that. Benks’ branding is nice too, super subtle on the aluminum frame.
I prefer the PitaTap instead of the cutout for CC. Can’t wait to put it to the test.
The Benks’ weaving feels more significant, you can feel the bumpy texture a lot more on the Benks.
I do prefer the full coverage on the bottom of the Benks vs that cutout in the center on bottom of Pitaka.
I also see Pitaka this year is covering the edges more like Benks. Last year Pitaka’s edges recessed and you could see the titanium being exposed I didn’t like that look at all personally.
I’m leaning more towards the Pitaka. I really like the improvements that they have done this year. Can’t wait to test them both with the phone in hand.
Caudabe buttons are not interchangeable with the new 17 cases. Going to need new buttons if you want to change colors with the new cases.

It seems both companies are continuing to evolve, which is great. I suspect it may come down to QC and fit, which to me is hyper-critical on these super-thin, super-stiff cases that are unforgiving of even tiny defects.

Was going to order that orange Beats but the delivery date is Oct 7-10 so I held off.Still got room for some more imo.

It probably depends upon when your order was placed. I seem to remember them shipping on time for a short while before they sell out and the ship dates push out.
No Caudabe orders from me but I’ll be “staying tuned” to find out from you.

Is the Q3 air the deep blue version? Looks really good.
I’ve currently narrowed it down to either Ringke Alles or the Q3 Air.
My iPhone 17 pro will arrive in two weeks, so no rush.
