Two days so far and all good, but I’ll let you know if it decides to peel.
I have had rh Flo lab for years and was disappointed last year with the 360 fit. You could still see where dust collected on the edges. Torras this year and it fits and feels perfect. You could use it without a case with very little interruptionTrying to decide between:
TORRAS OrigArmor
Spigen AluminaCore
FloLab NanoArmour OneTime Pro
Does anyone have an opinion on which one is best? I don't usually use a screen protector so I'm hoping to find one that's pretty undetectable, won't gather smudges, etc.
Same but I’ll be swapping for the flolabs when the 3d edge comes outI’ve been using FloLabs without issue the last few years but since they didn’t have the 3D edge ready yet this year I went with the Torras OrigArmor and so far so good. It went on easily and looks good with the apple silicone case.
The first 2 versions last year had the dust issue because they left too much gap between the edge of the protector and the edge of the frame. The 3D edge version solved that. I do think the torras is smoother and has a better oleophobic coating but 2 so far have had a few small scratches and the AR is not as good. I also wear polarized sunglasses so that’s huge for me. The fit in the torras is excellent thoughI have had rh Flo lab for years and was disappointed last year with the 360 fit. You could still see where dust collected on the edges. Not on their site yet. Rumored for October releaseDoes anyone have a link to the Flolab everyone is waiting for? Is it on their site yet?
If that had comparability with polarized sunglasses I would try it!Who’s gonna be the guinea pig and try the fresh coat https://shop.astropad.com/products/fresh-coat?variant=50995848937604View attachment 2555844
I might do the same, but I’ll wait and see how this one is doing by then..Same but I’ll be swapping for the flolabs when the 3d edge comes out
yeah just open this picture up on your phone and make sure all the "L" lense brackets are equally visible
Glad I could be of service 🫡Thanks for this. Just got the Torras one for my iPhone 17 and it is perfect, the Ringke one I had before cut off the left side corner!
Has anyone using Benks Glass Warrior checked the screen edges if it blocks any pixels?
I keep trying to tell everyone but no one wants to listen. I used to be life long flolab/spigen or imos. Now it’s just origarmor and possibly shellrus for meThe only protector anyone needs this year is the Torras OrigArmour.
Perfect fit, invisible when on, no black border screen intrusion, good applicator.
And this why I don’t buy 1 pack screen protectors. 😁When you guys peeled off the initial tab thats supposed to be “anti-dust” as Torras claim, did you press down on the protector ever so slightly, or only held down the tray?
Torras claim that initial plastic film is suppose to remove any dust before you roll it, but somehow I managed to get 2 dust in the bottom.
Maybe I took too long in securing the guide holes to the tray, since I had to remove the protector because the top left hole wasn’t secured down. I just ordered another one, and will try to be quicker in securing the protector down on the tray, then removing the tab quickly. Hopefully I get a dust-free install this time. 🤞
Mine went on sat slightly to the left so missing about ¾ of a mm down the right side.
