iPhone 17/e/Air/Pro/Pro Max Cases

How do you find the Aulumu case? Just bought one for my 17 Pro Max!

It’s pretty great. Good fit, nicely finished edges, super light. I only have two complaints. One, it’s a bit of a fingerprint magnet, which is true of all black/gray aramid cases with this smooth finish; and two, the plateau rim/cover on the Air version is polycarbonate instead of alloy. I suspect they used poly on the Air version to save weight, but in my opinion it has a bit of a cheap look/feel compared to the metal on the Pro version.

How do you like yours so far?

I haven't received it yet, I only ordered it today.

TBH I am a little nervous about using a case that offers minimal protection as I always used rugged cases on my phones, like a Mous or Caudabe case. I just wanted a change this time.

I doubt I will use this case when I'm out & about though. It will be strictly used when I am at home since I am less likely to drop my phone as my iPhone sits on my desk.

That’s basically what I do. Let us know how you like the case once you receive it!

AC+ seems to be less expensive to me than bought multiple quality screen protectors 🤷‍♂️.
Its shame, that Arc didn't fit well for you. Same as Aulumu for me. I have exactly opposite experience with it.

Actually, for me, it’s not so much about a broken screen (although it is somewhat about that) as it is having to live with a scratched screen. I always keep extra screen protectors around and if I get a scratch I just swap it out.

I guess it shows that these companies need to work on their quality control. My experience is that I’ve had to return far more cases with defects over the past few years than I ever did in the past. This year was the worst ever and it was across most brands.

I'm really slacking as I only have 11 cases here with me ☹️ maybe have 3-4 more down in Loxahatchee at my other place. I've also returned about 10 to Amazon this year. Half of these are those Verizon $5.00 specials.

I do have the blue Sheath and Synthesis somewhere, but they are not here.

DBrand grip question. Without a skin on the back what’s the texture like? I know in the past it’s been prone to scratches so I just wanna see if it’s the same.
