Pixel 10 ain't out, but worth mentioning that the back of the Pixel 9 is significantly better in person and actually added a functional ridge for your finger to sit in when holding in portrait.Features seem OK, but that is one ugly mock up.
Somehow even uglier than the back of the Pixel 10.
I'd suggest much cleaner to have the bump extend the full width of the phone and reach the very top, and with black glass covering the bump and with the metal frame wrapping around the sides and top of the bump a lá my very quick shoddy mock up below.

It's crazy how far behind they are, just because they refuse to admit that FaceID isn't actually a selling point for 99% of users.Main difference is apples design will have an enormous outmoded notch that instantly makes their phone look old in the store. Everyone else has a small hole punch.
If your iPhone doesn't have a screen that looks good outdoors, maybe you should a. get a new iPhone or b. don't use a third party screen? My 11 Pro had a good screen outdoors, the 15 Pro is plenty bright for every scenario, even indoor studio lighting, has a high refresh rate and isn't curved. When are we gonna get a 10x telephoto lens like Galaxy had had for ages now? Or a stylus? Or a screen that looks good outdoors? Innovation seems to have stopped at Apple awhile ago now.
That would bring a huge amount of people complaining about scratches on their screen.I bet we get nano texture too. That will be significant.
Great mockup, reminiscent of the iPhone 5. I really love that design and idea. However, the leak says that the rear is glass (for wireless charging) and the aluminum cover would be on the top of the rear, near the cameras.Features seem OK, but that is one ugly mock up. Perhaps not clear in my mock ups, but the idea is that below the black glass covering the cameras, it would be textured glass similar to the backs of the current iPhone Pros.Great mockup, reminiscent of the iPhone 5. Every Android device for years now has had super secure and far quicker fingerprint sensors, and many like the Pixel series now have secure face unlock for convenience.
Could be worse though, the notch on the MacBooks is the reason I'll never own one.
Apple is so far behind that their customers think they are buyinWhen are we gonna get a 10x telephoto lens like Galaxy had had for ages now? Or a stylus? Or a screen that looks good outdoors? Innovation seems to have stopped at Apple awhile ago now.
Look at any other phone on the market, just once. And you will feel like you are being scammed by Apple. Apple fanboys never look outside the walled scam garden
While the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are not expected to launch for 10 more months, there are already plenty of rumors about the devices.

An imaginative iPhone 17 Pro concept based on rumors
Below, we recap key changes rumored for the iPhone 17 Pro models so far:
Bookmark our iPhone 17 roundup to stay up to date with more rumors over the coming months.
- Aluminum frame: iPhone 17 Pro models are rumored to have an aluminum frame, whereas the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro models have a titanium frame, and the iPhone X through iPhone 14 Pro have a stainless steel frame. The back of the devices will supposedly have a new "part-aluminum, part-glass" design.
- Rectangular camera bump: On a related note, the devices are expected to have a "larger rectangular camera bump" made of aluminum.
- A19 Pro chip: iPhone 17 Pro models are expected to use Apple's next-generation A19 Pro chip, which will reportedly be manufactured with TSMC's newer third-generation 3nm process. Like usual, expect modest year-over-year performance gains and power efficiency improvements compared to the current iPhones.
- Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip: At least one iPhone 17 model is rumored to get a Wi-Fi 7 chip designed by Apple rather than Broadcom.
- 24-megapixel front camera: All four iPhone 17 models are said to feature an upgraded 24-megapixel front-facing camera, whereas all iPhone 16 models are equipped with a 12-megapixel front-facing camera.
- 48-megapixel rear Telephoto camera: An upgraded 48-megapixel Telephoto camera is rumored for the iPhone 17 Pro models, up from the 12-megapixel Telephoto camera on iPhone 16 Pro models.
- 12GB of RAM: An increased 12GB of RAM was initially rumored exclusively for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but later the iPhone 17 Pro as well. This upgrade should help to improve the performance of Apple Intelligence and multitasking. All four iPhone 16 models have 8GB of RAM.
- A smaller Dynamic Island for iPhone 17 Pro Max: A change rumored exclusively for the iPhone 17 Pro Max is a "much narrowed Dynamic Island," as a result of Apple adopting a "metalens" for the Face ID system.

Make the whole iPhone thicker or make the cameras worse?
That's a popular view from those who look at Apple with disdain, but I don't agree.Apple is so far behind that their customers think they are buyin

The iPhone will always be behind because of dimension limitations. The iPhone has been behind in camera tech for years now, no matter how big they make the cameras.
no doubt about that - just wondering, why Apple cannot make a Ti frame lighter than AlThe iPhone 15 and 16 Pro and Pro Max have frames made of titanium. The "lesser" models in each series are aluminum and its variant, aluminium, which has an extra ion.
Good question. I think Biggest inovation will be in software recently. Not even AI but ability to script apps. Something like AppleScript for iOS. It will be connected to AI of course so you will be able to ask phone for very complex tasks and do complex automations or AI will do those automations for you. We will see how it will materialize. What exactly are they supposed to do?
I do not think current status of zoom lenses and foldable screens is up to Apple expectaion so they wait and test.At a minimum they could copy what other phone makers do: foldable phones, more zoom, pens... They are loosing market share in China because other phone makers are innovating. Everything they have come up with in recent years have been copies of other phone makers: periscope lens, high pixel density cameras. Real innovation would be to think outside the box, which Apple did with the original iPhone, come up with things we didn't imagine.
I think looking at the mockup I'll be sticking with my recent move to the world of UltraSounds like a Samsung product is in your future.
