I think the iphone shouild startup on the middle page of apps being the main one?
So for example say there are 5 pages of apps it should start on the middle (third) page, that way you only have to scroll half way for the other pages.
Did that make any sense to anyone other than myself?
hey if you guys tap on the battery icon does it change to the percentage?
It's your ISP. Move to O2. £7.50 per month for O2 mobile subscribers. I've saved a tenner-a-month and my speeds are rock-solid!
i am a little worried about the battery/standby issue that has surfaced with 2.1 IPod Touch users. Hopefully, does not affect the IPhone 3G.
PS. The backup before update is painfully slow.![]()
When my phone was done, iTunes said "your phone is being activated," and then it said "your phone has been activated," and then on the phone it said "Your phone has been activated." I never saw the word "Reactivated," but I don't know if it's the same thing or not.
Knowing AT&T, they'll try and charge everyone an activation fee again!
Way to go Jobs!!!

ok, I'm going in.. Wish me luck.
You're not alone.Am I the only one who finds such usage of that word offensive? Spelling it differently doesn't change its homophobic undertone.![]()
I wouldn't, but if you can't wait, and don't mind losing your music, videos, and podcasts, go for it.My iPhone 3G is synced with my home mac. At work, I have a Windows PC. Assuming I have a data cable, is there a way I can plug my iPhone in and update it here at work without losing any data on my phone? Or is the only way to do that is by doing a restore on my work PC? Or should I just wait to get home?
Why would you want to skip the backup when it would mean that if something goes wrong, you won't be able to put everything back into your phone? Makes no sense to me, just to save some time...Is there a way to make it skip the backup before it upgrades?? Its already taken 15 minutes and its only under the "c" in "backing up...". I dont have all morning to waste waiting on this...
Well I guess I'm screwed until apple releases iTunes 8.1, because iTunes 8 hasn't been launching on my computer.
Ok now my backups are taking twice as long as they use to
Yes, because he's the one who fixed all the bugs...
