I decided to stay up until I could download it... and then play with it... and then download new apps... guess I wouldn't be sleeping at all... but that was before I got tired.

Had no new features in it either.

I'm running 2.2.1 with the included baseband and Jailbroken no problem.

i agree - i have the same dilemma, the plusses are landscape on notes and shuffle when you shake it, thats about it for the 1st gen

Its basically built for the iphone really... i can't say any of the features that touch customers would be getting would really bother me much... it's totaly up to you... depends what your main use is really... i've got a 1st gen iphone and to be honest if it wasn't free i wouldn't be to interested in the upgrade, as most of the features i won't be able to use anyway...
