I have friends with touchs that have never updated. They didnt even know they could update them. Ive told them to hold out til today to update so they get the newest version without paying twice. Not unreasonable...

because im jailbroken, and 2.2.1 updates the baseband...

Hi all
I called Apple Technical support as I woke at 5:00 excitedly to update my phone and the update was nowhere to be seen.

They said that they had reported it to their technical people and it should be available at 10:00 am UK Time.....

Am not going to hold my breath.

Their number is: 0870 876 0753 if anyone else wants to check.....

For a short time the Apple UK website did say the 18th and then it went back to 17th. Must be confusing even Apple themselves!
