judging from those pictures. the white one I got from yumelectronics on ebay was much more like Apple's than the one you got from Digital Mall. The rubbery part on the one I got is grey and feels just like the real bumpers do. Only downside is that the buttons are shiny silver, and also slightly cockeyed.

There are a ton of places selling kits that you can DIY. And you can send it to iResq and they'll do it for you too.
my digitmall09 white bumper started out looking like an interesting alternative last week, but this week the white rubber (apple's is gray) has yellowed and its stickier texture that i initially thought was an asset has begun to collect gunk. additionally the corners are beginning to separate.
i assure you i am not a nasty, filthy bastard as these photos implicate me to be. this thing is a dirt magnet. off to the trash this goes.

You clearly are a nasty, filthy bastard man. Mine has been on for a week and none of this. Maybe less time on phone and more time on work? Also try to wash your hands after bathroom visits, it will do wonders.
the more i look at these the more i dislike them.
sure, they are GOOD replicas, but they aren't good enough when you compare it to the real thing. You can sort of see why Apple were charging $29 for these things, even though that is still ridiculously high, in comparison to these ebay bumpers it is definitely worth spending the extra money for the real thing imo.

Just walk into your local Apple store! I believe they're starting to have them in stock now. I walked into Apple today just to browse and see if they have anything new and out of my surprise, they had them hanging all lined up! Various colors too! Unless the price is too much, I guess stick to eBay?

The price is too much for me. Not that i can't afford $30, but why would I spend it when I can get something nearly identical for 1/3 of the price?
I'm extremely satisfied with my bumper from yumelectronics. Sure at first it wasn't THE authentic Apple bumper, but it's pretty darn close. And for the price - it's totally worth it. I also like it a lot more than my black bumper, because it fits so much better and doesn't shift around and rattle like the real one. I've also had no issues with it peeling or getting excessively dirty (albeit mine is green).
I'm currently awaiting a blue one from gong-wei and am going to see how they stack up against each other.
Oh and thanks to all the people posting great comparison shots! They've really helped.

overall i'm satisfied with it. i actually like it better than my black apple bumper because the fit is more snug. the buttons also feel exactly as they would if they were pushed on the phone directly. if you never owned a bumper you will never know the difference.

I'll update this post later with pics from gong-wei i'm very satisfied with it. But my package came in like the black bumpers. Black lettering not like what i saw from page 4 or 5. where the orange/green were in the same color lettering. I was disappointed about that, but it's alright. I'm very happy with it For the price and shipping. It feels roughy/smooth and not grippy like the black one. But it's alright!
That's my take on the pictures. The packaging just disappoints me the most! I wanted the lettering colored to be the same as the other users here. I bought it from gong-wei. But to be honest, I like it. The buttons are very tactile and very responsible. So it's alright. I might get another orange and green one for a friend.

They had racks and racks of white/black/green/blue/pink/orange bumpers.
