Exaggerate much? 4 iPhones? 7 Time Capsules? The odds of you getting 11 defective devices in a row is not comprehendable.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that the problem is you and your unrealistic expectations...

Look clown, after 26 years of using apple products I think I know what I am talking about. The iPhone 4 was unusable unless on speaker laying on the counter by me, my friends or my apple dealer. It was not until we took the bumper case off that Apple recommended that the phone would make a call and end successfully in ones hand. Seven time capsules here, work, my mom's my condo in Florida yea I think I and my dealer who also tells customers to steer away from them says a little more about the product that whoever the heck you think you are. Mobileme's problems are documents and I know two Apple dealers that tell people to be very careful with the mobileme calendar and have it backed up on your mac because too many people have lost their data. Apple has indeed lost there way at the moment and put out a untested defective iPhone 4 which was their largest product offering to date, need I say more. Where have you been all this time and what the heck to you know. What the hell do you do for a living mr so called expert?

Just imagine how much money apple is making by selling these bumpers? the mark up is like 400 - 500%

You could see it as a business opportunity. Shouldn't you be able to start a business that sell tons of bumpers for $19.99 at about 300% markup?

mother****ers hit the free bumpers, choice of color - only in black

squrwysyny wciskali nad darmówki do koloru do wyboru tylko że w kolorze czarnym !

OK, Not worth the price.

I got mine for free, and I still think Apple took me.
I have a lot headphones and with this bumper, I can only use the apple headphones. If you buy it you better make sure your headphones have a small audio jack.

Same goes with the USB charging cables. Only the new cable fits. Older apple usb cables are too big. If you are like me, and have multiple accessories that connect to your iPhone... DON'T BUY IT.

My recommendation, get the speck pixelskin HD.

Should be 9.99

...But is there anything under $10 at the apple store? maybe there is. Havent found one yet.

It is true for most owners. Obviously not all owners, some of whom have a real problem. But there have been many reports of owners who cover the spot in question and still have no signal issues.

It's a huge fallacy to assume that what you experience is what the whole world experiences.

It's a huge fallacy to assume that if the media reports an issue, it's an issue that everyone experiences.
Wait.. what?? No. Are you saying that when you put your palm or even just a finger on that spot, you don't see the signal drop? Hold it there for a few seconds. If you see no drop at all, then I've got a faulty phone, and I want one like yours.

Sorry, but, EVERYONE's iP4 has this problem.

And by the way, dropping from 5 bars to 2 may not be a "signal issue" in your mind, but it most certainly still is a flaw with the phone.

Nevertheless, people have posted trying to put their fingers on that exact spot and not noticing any degradation.

The point to all of this is that coverage varies widely, and what's true in your house may not be true for someone across the country. It is not a universal problem.

The $29 price point is laughable.

If I were Microsoft, I would definitely incorporate this into an ad campaign poking fun at the ridiculousness and pretentiousness of the whole thing. It would be a great way to illustrate one of the things many people hate about apple.

why would they do that when they can sell their own cases to WP7 customers? what, you dont think theyre in this to be your buddy, do ya? theyre in this to make money. gawd how pretentious!

there's not much room to claim it's purely a figment of the media's imagination.

its an issue for a very, very small percentage of users. watch the press conf.

this is confirmed by 99% of the people reporting experiences like mine -- no issues. ever.

oh, and all of europe.

this is att.

Again, define what you mean by "issue". Let's say you put your finger there, and it drops from 5 bars to 2. You still have reception, your call doesn't go out, so I guess that is not an "issue"? By that measure, I don't have an issue, either. But I can certainly see the design flaw.
