Def want to try this out....shall we just pm you our UDID? I was showing someone my phone today and was recording video in lowlight and they said "man i wish there was an app for that "..LOL

I'd love to try it as well! Hopefully it's not too late, and you haven't used up your alloyed number of devices to test on.

so going to Camera, turning on Video mode, and then forcing flash On is too hard?

(you don't even have to record)

Yes!

I was talking with my girlfriend about a flashlight, googled this " "iphone 4" camera flash flashlight " and found this... how awesome! yes I would like to try if I can!!!

I want to try it!!!

I have been waiting for this App ever since the iPhone 4 got announced!

FINALLY a flashlight :D!

I was waiting for the Cydia light because it could bypass the limit you set, but this looks way better. How do we go about getting one, and I actually wouldn't mind paying.

And for those of you complaining, people in this world are actually willing to pay a premium for convenience.

I used this added feature all the time with my Motorola Q and every BlackBerry I've had. I'm looking forward to this being something I can have on my phone. It's sort of a pain to have to go to video and switch on the LED every time.

It should turn on the LED and turn the screen either off, dimmed, or at least a black screen, so it doesn't blind you

We think Flashlight 4™ was first.

I believe we were actually first with this idea on the iPhone 4. Already submitted to the App store last week, waiting on Apple for approval. We started on Jun 19th, tested for a couple days after the iPhone 4 launch, perfected multitasking related issues and submitted to the App Store for Approval.

Ours is priced at $.99 and is named Flashlight 4™ - (Waiting on App Store Approval).

If you have an iPhone 4 and would like to try it, please reply in this thread.

Thanks,

Sherwin

I have an iPhone 4 and would love to try this.

Question: Does it use the same LED brightness level as the video camera (the dimmer one), or is it the "super brightness" that the normal camera uses (right as it snaps the photo).

(In case anyone doesn't know what I'm referring to. Take a picture with flash turned on. Watch the LED. It turns on, off, and then back on MUCH brighter as it takes the picture.) When recording video, the LED brightness is the 1st (dimmer) flash.
