Don't select shipping before coupon code???
Not sure if this helps but I noticed some saying they tried the code after selecting shipping.
When I placed my order I didn't select shipping method I skipped to the code entry below it and after it accepted the coupon code free fedex shipping appears in the list and is automatically selected in addition to the 10% off ($5.00).

I have not yet received a confirmation email, but I received an order number after checking out and the funds have already been charged to my card. Took me three attempts to get my order to go through. I also kept getting the same message as everyone else, but it finally accepted the order with the coupon code.
*NEVERMIND, it went to my spam folder. Check your spam folder. It's probably there.
Are you guys going to wait for apple's free case offer, they might give us credit for the case of our choice.
I'm not. I don't even have the phone yet because I've been waiting on this case. I'm tried of waiting and had decided I would order the first place that had them for order.
I don't think there is any way the Defender is going to be a part of that offer. I personally think they will only utilize cases that are in the same price range as the Bumper and the Defender isn't. I am curious to see what they do offer though. I'm of the opinion that one can never have too many cases anyway.

I'm betting Otterbox just wants to say this thing is "available now" so that people purchase a case before being offered a free one from apple. Who is going to want to purchase this in a week if the one being offered by Apple is good enough for them?
No doubt that apple press conference plus ballistic release sped up the release but I don't think apple will offer cases like otterbox, more like griffin. Think about it apple is giving cases free for 2 months but won't want to give out cases that will push their bumpers off the market for good.

I know it will kill the sleek lines of the phone, but .66 inches thick is still not too bad. Hopefully the screen protector is decent as well.
I like to take care of my stuff, but this phone stresses me out a little. It seems like I have to be EXTRA carefull with it. At least with the Defender, I can worry a little less.
