iPhone 4 Priority list

And even though they give the option of setting a time to pick it up (and imply that you need to make an appointment), that system is not yet working -- you just show up when you get there.

A bit disappointing that I can't get it today, but I guess I've waited this long...

Yea. Same thing here. Just got my pickup email after 14 days of waiting (32 GB) and it says for pickup Thursday. BUT I am not primary account holder and they may not be able to go with me tomorrow!!!! Ugh I am just going to go demand a phone. If my "iphone is waiting" why cant I have it?

My email said to make a reservation for the next day to pick it up, but I just went into the store and they were able to give me the phone with no problems.

Man. I put my name down on the 8th at Valley Fair for a 32. What size did you guys reserve??

My sister who works at Valley Fair said there was a line at the Apple Store last night. Must have just gotten in a shipment??? Hopefully they served the priority list first.
 
So I finally got the email from the Apple store that my iP4 is waiting for me. Luckily, I walked in Best Buy 2 weeks ago and got one immediately. I was on the Apple list for 3 weeks.

July 5 for 32 at valley fair. Nothing yet.

Cambridgeside Bestbuy currently has 5 (five!) people only waiting for the 32GB. Put yourself on their calling list and you will most likely get it when next shipment comes in (I'm #5).
 
18 days...

18 days today :mad:...still no email. An Apple Store guy said they generally get between 30 and 40 iPhone 4s per day, but only that they had "a lot of people" on the priority list :(. He told me there was no way for him to find out my position on the list.

Just called from my office and the lady said there was no priority list at Best Buy. WTF. Going to go in after work and speak to someone else. She seemed rather dense.

EDIT: Called again and spoke to someone else. Now, added to the 32GB queue. Hope they get some in this week! Don't feel like shelling out another $100 but whatever, I want my iPhone. The sooner, the better.
 
I finally got my reservation email from Apple but already bought it from the ATT store last week. Do you know if it is possible to transfer the reservation to someone else?

You have to be at the store with the person you're going to transfer the reservation to.

I was just there yesterday with my bro when he picked up his 32gb. They made no mentions of serving walk-in.

Yes, that lady who answers the main phone is pretty darned dense. Ask for the cellphone/mobile section specifically, and tell the guy who answers you want to be on the 'calling list'. They just take your phone number and call you - no emails.

Yeah, I JUST did that. Hope it works. I'm getting tired of the wait.

I just talked to someone at the Glendale Galleria Apple Store...they're not serving walk-ins? Still following the priority list only.
 
Day 17 for a 16gig at the Scottsdale, AZ store. Unbelievable. No moving up email. Nada.

Update: I just called that store, and they guy who answered said there is no way to even check if I am still on the list... Strange since I called last week to ask the same thing and that guy was able to verify. I love Apple, but their customer service has certainly declined in recent months. Sigh

columbia, md

Anybody waiting on the Columbia, MD priority list? I have been on since 29th June for 16GB and no email yet other than the welcome email... Reps are no help in even confirming I am on the list.
 
Walked into walmart this morning. They had four 16gb's in stock.


After 30 minutes of the employee not being able to find my account I finally walked HER through it and got my phone.

8 days on the Apple list and got my email on July 3rd when I was out of town have been on the list another 10 days with nothing.


The walmart off North Point rd in Baltimore County has had 4 sitting in stock for over 6 days (they got a shipment of 5 sold only 1 before me)

I spoke with a women at my apple store (Eastview Mall, Victor NY) over the telephone today. I know most of the stores have had confidentiality on where they're located on the list but she said she could look that up and tell me. She asked for my email and said I was number 99 on the list and I have been on the list since 7/3.

She said they have had as high as 250 people on the list so I'm guessing I was near that 250ish mark when I was put on the list. She said they get shipments in of 50 phones sometimes but lately have not been getting shipments daily which is why I have not yet received my phone within their week time line.

Hopefully I'll get an email by early next week.

Well, I was just asking about my spot on the list and the guy said he can serve walk ins and can get me the iPhones right away.

Well I'm not sure about today, but yesterday they were in the evening.
