iPhone 4 Surfaces in Czech Republic With Back Camera Photo and Video Samples

Do you know amateurs and professionals can take completely different quality photos / videos on the same equipment?

Considering my job is taking pictures, yes, I know.
Did you know that even a professional cannot add definition to the pictures a camera takes if it's a crappy camera? Yeah, you can make adjustments to try to get some better definition between objects, but if a camera sucks, it sucks.

Pictures are decent enough to replace my wife's Fuji 6mp P&S camera. It's one less thing to lug around. I wish the sky was a bit smoother, I see lots of grain.

The video exceeds my expectations for a mobile phone. It doesn't compete with my Canon T2i, but it would probably get used more often because of the convenience. I'm glad I pre-ordered the 32gig phone.

Please Don't Feed the Trolls

Hi Peeps.

I like you all - I really do, but come on! You've been around the net long enough to know you don't feed trolls. If someone says something clearly designed to insight a bad reaction just IGNORE IT! Anyone who comes to an Apple forum and slags off Apple is clearly trying to get in a ruck.

I'll give you some examples to help you tell the difference.

Decent comment: "I don't like these images. I find them washed out. I think the (insert alternative product) camera takes better pictures. I'd recommend it for people who want a good camera. Here's some examples!"

Troll comment: "These suck!! My UberFone6TX89 is sooo much better. Same old stupid Apple with lies and lies and lying lies!! I need more hugs . . ."

See? Don't react and they'll go away. Alternatively offer to hug them. They'll say no at first but keep trying. You might make someone's day.

12.5 mb for a 9 second video. My 32 gb of memory is starting to sweat in anticipation almost as much as Apple's activation servers.

I presume Apple aren't actually allowing iPhone 4 activations yet, so even if one were leaked from a stockist it wouldn't work... And given Apple seem so good at shutting down missing field ready prototypes, how'd this one get enabled so that someone could take photos?

Video is bit shaky (was expected). We will need a kind of tripod to get good video.

I also found to be a bit wash out with lack of contrast.

Take 2. It's excellent knowing it's from a phone. It can't compare to pro stuff but will surely be great for 98% of the users (and ok for the other 2%).

Doing video with this on a tripod will increase the perception of quality and will be more fluid.

Also, still frame from the video are not bad.

To be honnest, video wise, this will surely be my most use video camera in the next 2 years because I'll always have it on me

iPhone and EVO

I can't wait to compare the iPhone 4 and the EVO cameras, I have an EVO (work cell) and currently have an iPhone 3gs (personal cell) yeah I carry two phones . 6 More days

The first one:
The bright colors are washed out, the greens lack definition, and there is a sh load of noise in the picture.

The second one:
I don't know where to start. So much noise my ears are hurting, the whole picture lacks definition, and there is a major lack of detail on anything.

They look like paintings when zoomed in! LOL

Use dropbox , When ur memory is full, upload to dropbox and delete from ur phone, U don't need a computer to transfer

I think all the posted pics for both i-4 and evo look great..... it's a phone ffs. Vid on evo wasn't as smooth but I thought it still looked great....it's a phone ffs. This my pecker is bigger than yours bs has to freakin end. Both phones are great phones for the people that want THAT type of phone. I think the evo is butt ugly as lots of people think the 4 is butt ugly. The more other companies up the game the more we ALL win. So what ya say we all chill and enjoy the phone we like.

You obviously don't know how selective focus / exposure works to bring more highlight details.

As an owner of both an iPhone and an EVO. I can say this comment is 1000 percent false. The productivity apps on the iPhone blow away the same for Android.

Then you're a clueless EVO user. How many Mifi apps can you download on your non-jailbreak iPhone? How many tethering apps? It's stuff like that which Apple does its damndest to block from its users. Real quality apps that serve a real purpose. Available on Android, not on the Apple store.

As do the ones posted from the guy in Europe from his iPhone 4. What's funny about those EVO shots is if the guy said they were from an iPhone 4, the reaction would have been "OMIGOD AWESOME" from all the people now ragging on them.

That's about 20 minutes more than my 3G iPhone and 3G Touch.

This comment just shows how little you know about what you are talking about... There is a huge difference in battery life between the iphone 3G (or 3GS) and the ipod Touch 3G, and its because of one thing.... the 3G network. The 3G network drains the battery on the iphone extremely quickly, and it results in more charges. BUT the ipod touch 3G is not on any cellular data network, so you should get a dramatically better battery life on it. Yet you say they have the same battery life...

Maybe your ipod touch battery life is so crappy because you're one of those people that disconnects the device and connects it back every 5 minutes?

Some of y'all need to calm down. It's a freaking phone not an DSLR camera. For a phone those pictures and the video looks great. If you like the Evo more get a god damn Evo!

I for one can not wait to get my hands on my shiny new phone next week.
