iPhone 4 with oem white back cover

Thanks for the pictures! I'm really loving that look. It's just hard for me to justify to myself that paying an extra $125 for a white back is a good idea, ya know? My mom's going to update to the white iP4 when it's released, so I'll probably just switch with her. :p

Anyway, lovin' the look! Like a previous poster said, it'll probably go for a pretty penny on eBay when next year's iPhone is released.
 
the iresq.com piece looks like it comes complete with the main bezel and camera bezel. Considering the price of the iresq kit compared with others its looks and sounds like a complete deal...1minute install...2 screws, slide and remove, reverse for install
 
To the op... Did you install it yourself or did iresq do it for you? If you did it how hard was the install? Was it just remove the screws and slide the cover out and replace?

Also, it doesn't say anywhere on that site that the part is OEM. Not starting an argument OP, but are you sure it is? Because if it is I think I may do this :)
 
White Back on Ebay

A seller has posted the white glass back for iPhone 4, its 9.96 with free shipping. Worth a try, right? compared to 125 bucks for a piece of white glass... just search "White Glass Back Battery Cover Housing 4 Iphone 4G 32GB" on ebay. Seller has good reviews as well.

I called them to confirm that it was OEM, because I was kind of confused why it was so expensive, and wanted to justify the price. Its a complete piece, with everything on in necessary to install straight as a swap. 2 minute install, anyone can do it themselves...

Those cheap pieces are JUST the glass...no bezel or frame to mount it. You will have to scrap and scavange parts from your old back cover to make it work...this is why the OEM ones are 125bucks or more, cuz they are complete units

In a few pics of that case it looks like the clear plastic might cover over the flash and camera, I'm not sure if that's the case but if so I might just drill out the plastic for the camera and flash.
 
I ordered mine from the same place as the OP today. I'll report back on the installation tomorrow night. I'm very excited! I really liked the white iPhone 3G and 3GS with the white back and black front. I think this is going to look great.
 
Received it today and it looks legit OEM.

I'll install tonight and get back to you guys.

I also received my Marware SportGrip Edge.
 
Looks great, thanks for the video! Since you did it with only one hand, I am hoping I can get it done with two, haha.
 
One thing I've noticed that's kinda odd. The white back plate does not have a Flash Diffuser over the LED Flash hole. Which makes me think this is not an OEM back plate.

To the OP, did your white back plate have a diffuser?
 
Mine should be here today. I'll check for the flash. What do you mean by flash defuser??
