WHOA. WHAT! How is that even...what?!? I am so confused.
When you call in, ask to be transferred to the Global Department. See if you can get a gal named Yvonne. She was quick and did it in under a minute.

A unlocked device is usually linked to the IMEI number, all they have to do is adjust it in their system.

True...but then that information needs to be received by the phone somehow right? I guess its a question of whether it was pushed automatically over the air or if it needs to be done through iTunes like with other carriers.
Maybe when OP gets home and connects to iTunes he'll get a message like this.
So far much faster - but then the iPhone 4 was pretty fast.I wanna know how the performance is compared to the iPhone 4!!
Transferred to the Global Dept....
VZW Global: "Blah blah blah - understand you want to unlock your SIM - blah blah Verizon Wireless appreciates your business - blah blah blah - give me a few minutes to verify your account..."
Me: "Ok."
VZW Global: "What I just did sir was processed the SIM to be unlocked and you're good to go with any GSM SIM card!"
Me: "Wow, that's it, so I can just drop in a pre-paid SIM when I arrive in Italy?"
VZW Global: "Yes sir, that's all. Anything else I can assist you with aside from the SIM card unlock?"
Me: "So you can do it all from there - nothing for me to do from the phone settings?"
VZW Global: "Yes, we've done it all from our systems here. Anything else I can assist you with aside from the SIM card unlock?"
Me: "Nope, thanks!"

Are you a new Verizon customer or been with them "over 60 days"?
Im curious to know if this will work with the ATT IP4s.....

It'll probably be something that takes some time to notice - I'm at work and have spent most of my time on here blathering about getting the phone early, so I've not really messed with it as much as I plan on doing.
Quick reply man. Please tell me you have something like Infinity Blade or something to take that badboy for a spin with? lol
I don't, but I may try it. Not much into games on the iPhone, but I may start soon!
The box is photoshopped. That S is clearly at a 32.3 degree angle whereas the side of the box is at a 73 degree angle. It doesn't match up.
You guys need to take some photoshop lessons off of youtube like I do.
I am AT&T tho so I guess your situation wouldn't apply to mine. My question is when I get my 4s tomorrow can I just set it up as a new phone then restore it from iCloud? Will I have to swap sims from my 4 to 4s?.
You do not swap SIMS. When you get your new phone you activate it with the new SIM already inside and that removes the old SIM from AT&T's database, effectively killing it.

I'll check - at work so it's hard to talk to my phone in the cube farm. May walk outside to see what it sounds like.Eagerly awaiting what you have to say about it. It ran pretty damn good on the i4, but with some stuttering/lag here and there.
Look at Infinity Blade 2 if you want to know what I'm hoping to see (in terms of framerate)

Well shouldn't those be multiple voices like we've seen in other videos?
Like the British one was a male and sounded British? Or is it the same chick either way?
