iFiend,

I have never seen anything like it. And people wonder why we're pulling our hair out.

I can't help you, but I sure empathize. FWIW.

Flight 61 is landing in Anchorage as we speak. Look for a possible update soon. This flight will continue to Louisville.

It will probably have to be diverted back to Incheon because there are too many packages clogging up customs in Louisville.

Still haven't cleared customs either. Hoping it just means UPS site hasn't been able to update. When I check my shipment status on packagetrackr.com, it says the information from UPS has not been updated in 7 hours. There is a chance everything has cleared and has already been forwarded to our local hubs.

That would be nice. If it can make today's flight to the west coast it still might be ready for pickup tomorrow.

This lack of consistency is another weird deal. Last night I was following the flight from Incheon to Alaska and the departure from Alaska. After the plane left Incheon, I got a departure scan update; In Alaska, I received arrival and departure scans. Today, the tracking system is not updating?

I don't know.

Thanks.

I really just want my iPhone 5

Dude, it says "2 packages" it's probably lumping the tracking information for both packages under one, for some reason.

But I think we can all agree that UPS blows.

I have 2 iPhone 5's coming.

Before I start hanging out with my iPhone5, I wanted to provide a detailed summary, which may allay fears regarding "no movement." Much of the non-local tracking info materialized *hours* after the fact, even allowing for time zone differences.

Same as you folks... UPS chat told me Monday... Maybe... or maybe sooner. They had no idea what was going on. So our phones may just be sitting in Louisville... or not.

LOL! I will never use UPS on purpose again, that's for sure.

Yeah, I'm starting to think that Friday is way more probable now than their promised Thursday still posted on the tracking page.

Conspiracy Theory every thread gots to have at least 1

Alright I might just be the threads only conspiracy theorist but....:eek:

In many of these justly disgruntled posts the common denominator is 9/23 7:35p Zhengzhou arrival. I just skim for it now and yep, there it is like a black thumb print.

Things just seemed to go haywire from there with some of us getting erroneous scans leaving and then coming back to China and some of having no updates for 4 days.

I think maybe no one got out and the scans were in error and their was a major problem with the shipment either lost/stolen/damaged/forgotten idk.

I have seen 1 or 2 day delays in the post but nothing along the lines of the crazy tracking and the 3 + days in the twilight zone.

I would love to know what happened but sadly I have no confidence that UPS will ever offer an explanation given the fact that they are clearly over their heads with this Apple contract considering the sales and the other launch issues.

Hopefully we really did see Korea and just landed in Alaska but....:rolleyes:
