So iPhone (white 32gig) still in AK. Still at 7:52 eastern time states my package is on time and due for delivery TODAY. We are all aware A: won't be here (In Raleigh NC from AK) today. And B: UPS DOESN'T SHIP AFTER 8!! Matter of fact. I think 6 is cut off for day. So when I call UPS to hear (directly from them what my status is and expectations should be) the CSR STATES it WILL BE HERE TODAY.*tho I knew better* She then told me that if my status doesn't update anymore tonight/ package isnt delivered I need to call APPLE bc SHIPPING STATUSES aren't THEIR problem?! SMH

BTW: since hanging up, no update. I'm 'whatever' at this point. But now I notice yet another package (iPhone) on my profile headed for NJ. Poor person prob has no idea the status or ETA. I saw its due to be delivered 2mrw-yay to them.

Calling UPS is no different than calling a clown or better yet a politician, they have no clue nor idea what is going on. They will tell you what you want to hear.

That 2nd tracking number has shown up on pretty much anyone who has a UPS MyChoice login and actually belongs to a MacRumors forum member. He is aware that it have been published for pretty much the entire world to see. In fact, he invited us all over for a barbecue this weekend. Right Aimb?
 
Looks like im on the same schedule as you. Mine sat in Korea almost 2 days.

UPS still says scheduled to arrive in Ontario, Canada today....

what's interesting is it doesn't say warehouse scan on the ups site but it did on packagemapping.com

It's not a huge deal. I've had UPS packages transit through DFW before. They are put on a truck and it's a four hour road trip from point to point. As long as the bar code is right, it will very likely wind up here hours before the overnight plane arrives from Louisville. It's actually a better deal than the plane - as long as the bar code is right.

When I saw a few people comment that they're phone didn't make it out of Anchorage I assumed my phone stayed behind with them. I've been stuck at every destination 2 days+. But I just checked my tracking and amazingly it left Alaska. And, amazingly, UPS still thinks it's on time for delivery TODAY.

After days of pissing and moaning, I'm actually seeing movement. Though I'm still not happy that many friends who ordered their phones hours after me got theirs 2 days ago (ups express), I am glad this complete mess is almost over with. I have my wife's being delivered tomorrow and mine Monday. Preorders placed 14th @ 7:15 CST. 16 gb, one white one black.

Flight from Louisville to Richmond/Norfolk VA

Any idea when my flight may go out? I've got del for tomorrow, pre-sign already posted on the door it's been in "Departure Scan" mode since around 3:00pm. Thx in advance for any help.

Mine is in Seattle for the night, just got updated at UPS at 17:12 PDT. Next flight to YVR isn't until 8:39am tmrw. There goes any hope of a Friday delivery :( as Customs will be the next stall. Then onto YQR and into a delivery truck for its rural delivery.

Thinking Apple's expected delivery of 10/05 isn't so far-fetched at this point :confused:

Btw, UPS has removed the expected delivery date days ago! Who know when is anyone's guess now.
 
Finally down to, what I am hoping, only two more expected updates. Arrival to Staten Island and then the long awaiting Out for Delivery tomorrow morning. The last week has been, let's just say, quite the experience!

Well it looks like those of us sitting in HK since 10:30 on the 26th finally made it to alaska... to sit again. The flight we were on seems to be HK->anchorage->ontario and we didn't get on the ontario flight.

So now that we are in AK, and all the flights coming from asia are presumably full of iPhones, which are the flights that continue on to Louisville, how are we getting to Louisville? Guess we get to chill out in Alaska for a few days.

Left factory on 9/23
Sat in ZhengZhou for 3 days
Left ZhengZhou on 9/26 and arrived in hong kong
Sat in Hong Kong for a day and a half
Got to Alaska on the 27th (Date line adds a day)
Going to sit in Alaska for ???? :p

edit:
By my count they've already missed the 5 business day window for expedited, but I guess they get a free day because of the international date line :p
