i would like to know that too. But i also know trying to make UPS make that kind of change could possibly delay the pickup more than the actual delivery.
For us that are stuck in Alaska with this:

Our only hope is they pick up our phones when UPS 063 lands in Anchorage today before it heads to Louisville. If not there are no more flights between the two until Monday.

I can see the rogue NJ UPS tracking information. I tried to report it but UPS apparently did not understand what my actual issue was. They wanted to access my computer and share my screen but I declined and gave up. Sorry to the person who's information is floating out there.
Initial Question: This is not my package, why has it been displayed to me with somone elses information for 2 days? Can other people track my packages also? Vivian O.: Hi, this is Vivian O.. I'll be happy to assist you.

Hate to taunt you all, but mine is finally out for delivery! So here is my two cents after it all:
1. Will be delivered by APPLE'S estimated delivery date, not UPS's.
2. UPS estimated delivery date is no good until it's IN THE U.S.
3. IT IS NORMAL that your phone will most likely get stuck for AT LEAST 12hrs in: China, Louisville.
I've attached my tracking info so you can get an idea of how it went down.

UPS usually comes to my place between 4-5pm. Is it possible to make it today somehow? unlikey right?.. few days back it had said Sep 28 as the delivery date but that disappeared few days ago.
There are usually several flights in the afternoon that go from alaska to louisville, however, I don't see any scheduled on flightaware at the moment. UPS doesn't always schedule very far in advance though, so I doubt that means anything.

I got the scratches. Little silver nicks on the matte part of the back panel. It isn't going to bother me really, it'll be in a case 99.5% of the time but why should I settle for a flawed phone? Guess I'll be visiting the Apple store -- which I was trying to avoid at all costs.
Driver asked me "Is this an iPhone 5?" Then he proceeded to tell me that a couple UPS guys got caught stealing a couple of them... How stupid is that? You can't activate them without getting caught -- duh.

I'm in the same boat as you. If they're delivering to a residential address, I doubt it, especially since the date is gone.
Business addresses get a better service. Mine's shipping to work and the date is still there. "By End of day"
I doubt very much we will get ours today. Most likely Monday and possibly Tuesday. UPS has been pretty persistent they can only guarantee delivery by EOD Tuesday.
Mine did. Shipping to Montreal, Canada.

I stand corrected. Just got a call from Apple in response to my email asking some fairly detailed questions about the logistics details we've been discussing here and told they were actively looking into why things were shipped out of order and the UPS performance issues.
Doesn't help much with the stuff currently shipped, but it might help for the rest of the customers and for future releases... at least they are taking the issue seriously.
where are you located. Would be nice if everyone in this forum had location next to their user name.

Here in Toronto, which is less than 100km from where our packages are supposedly being held, still no update.
