iPhone 5 Available to ship:2 weeks / Delivers Oct 5

Amazing how much slower Worldwide Expedited is compared to Express.
Disappointing to see the device arrive in North America only to then be shipped from hub to hub and just sitting in them for a day before the next move.

Express would have been a quick direct flight home.

Delivery date changed so many times, finally now they just took it off...

My phone is moving again...I guess they would have to ship it to the LA facility first then onto a delivery trunk later today?

I could have flown back to Alaska and then flown to St. John's in all this time.

I figure being so far east has really screwed me over. Usually mine head to Dieppe, NB.

Yeah, 5 days never seemed so long... Bizarre is a good description, and I think we all need to provide some feedback to Apple about it to insure that they take responsibility for the delivery, not just 'gave it to UPS'. While I believe that most of this pre-order pain for the second shipment is UPS' fault, we should get Apple to step up to the plate for future events...

So, who's up for an iPhone 6 rumors thread! :eek:

Now THAT'S impressive (arrival/in/out of customs in 4 hours). It's sort of what I thought all the "world ease" BS was supposed to bring to begin with :cool:

Certainly would give me hope if I was thinking that Monday was the day!! :apple:

Did and the conversation was hilarious. I gave up - just like I did tracking my own package!:p Here's the interesting part of that exchange. Don't think it was much of a help - sorry but at least I tried.

Got a departure scan from Mount Hope. I think if it were on the truck, it would say "Out for Delivery"? Not sure what delivery rescheduled means.

Just saw this too but we don't have an IMPORT SCAN yet. I hope mine is headed to Concord. I seriously doubt it will go out today.

The status changed from Pkg shipped; delivery being scheduled to Departure Scan just after talking with UPS Canada CS. The information I got is that the customs is cleared and delivery is scheduled for oct 2nd for me (Montreal).

So my phone was on the LA flight, departure scan of 5:58am, probably on its way to orange county now. Looks like we'll both be getting our toys today. Hope we see out of delivery soon :)

I have the same tracking information so our iPhone should in the same truck and I am in Richmond Hill. I really hope I can get it today but not likely :-(
 
Those of you in Canada, any chances this will clear customs early afternoon or so and become available for pickup at the UPS facility?

I'm in the same batch as you. My tracking says I will get it by EOD Monday 10/1. Our phones SHOULD leave today and get to Louisville today. Then it will sit for another day, get sent to the destination hub on Sunday for sorting, and be out for delivery Monday morning.
