Official email from Apple came just now. Should arrive on Oct 1, it says.

Origin scan ZhengZhou 12:05AM. Can someone tell me where I am / plane I'll be on?
 
1st phOne... Still in Kentucky since 7am yesterday.... 2nd phone departed Jamaica NY at 1am

Departed Jamaica NY at 1AM....there's a UPS flight in the air from Newark to Louisville...wonder if the phones are on that plane?

Sheesh... finally some movement after 40+ hours of slacking! Could this be due to Expedited vs Express shiping method or because of the weekend maybe??

Just trying to gather another data point around the delay...:)
 
And another... Both iPhones just updated with the 4:26pm departure time. Now to try to figure out time to get to MA...

As did I...I guess they don't move packages around in China on Sundays? Oh well, I guess we are still on track for Thurs/Fri at the latest

PackageMapping.com has this "4:27 PM" departure heading straight to Lousiville, Kentucky. Not sure how accurate that is though. My understanding is it goes thru Hong Kong first so could be a glitch in the website..
 
I've been in Louisville since yesterday. Hopefully it hasn't gotten smacked by a baseball bat! ;)

Mine has been updated to Departed - ZhengZhou, China, Monday, 09/24/2012 as well, but the text update i got with it says "In Transit Louisville, KY US". I suppose that is it's destination eventually. odd

Just signed up there.. Gave me a little more package info.. One is left ny for Louisville @ 101 am and one is hanging out in China still ..seems like the wife will get hers first
 
1 order shipped, the other still in "preparing for shipment" for 50+ hours. Orders were placed within minutes of each other.....
 
One in KY and one just switched to shipped still in China. Weird thing is the latter resulted from an email from Apple saying 1 item has shipped and it will arrive Oct 1. The one sitting in KY, however, never got an email...

Jamaica, Queens is where JFK airport is.

(My iPhone just left there at 1am today en route to Kentucky. Ironically, it's final destination is only a few files from JFK in Brooklyn, but apparently Kentucky is where they go to clear customs. UPS claims Thursday delivery date. :( )
