I don't think the shipment that landed in Louisville at 12:41am made it through customs very quickly because a flight from Louisville to Jacksonville left about a half hour ago and there's no updates on my end (that's where my phone is headed). It could just be slow updating but I doubt it.

Wife's .... Still in China Both ordered 9/14 4:10 AM EST ... Orginingly delivery date 10/5 for mine 10/2 for hers.
 
2 phones ordered @ same time. One still in China??!

Same here only I ordered BOTH of ours at the same time. So don't quite understand why such a difference in progress. If anything, mine (the one in China as of sun 9/23 was the FIRST one ordered. I did however notice my shipping says 'expedited' vs his express..? Guessing this could be the confusion in the progress contrasts???..

But I don't know. Anyone know about how long generally once departed from Lexington, KY?

Talking to UPS is infuriating.
My delivery location is 10 mins from Washington. I called them to see if it would deliver today. He said "Maybe, but more than likely thursday the 27th"

..sigh. Wonder if I should just go pick it up?

Mine got to the local hub just a few minutes ago (Arrival scan). They told me I wouldn't be able to pick it up until the day *after* it got delivered. Does anyone know what/if the website updates for will-call availability?

Do you have an Oct 1st delivery date from Apple? I am hoping it's wrong and the phone will arrive Friday/Saturday. I won't be home Monday-Saturday of next week cause of work/school. My Friday class was canceled for this week, so that would be perfect.

Then it went through my town to another town about 40 miles to the west of me but is also smaller than where I live. So hopefully it will find its way back here tomorrow morning! When I call UPS they assured me that it will be available at the terminal at 9 AM tomorrow when they open, so fingers crossed!

Both UPS and FedEx would show it "held for pickup" on your tracking (or something along those lines). In my area, FedEx requires one delivery attempt before they will reroute to one of their pickup locations so that's typically a one-day delay. UPS does not.

I called UPS, they have no delivery date available. COME ON!! Can I return my iphone for this incovinience :)? By the way it is going back to Apple, I don't want Att anymore. Should I open the box? The only problem it needs my signature. :-(
 
I wish my iPhone was shipped Fed-Ex. Look how fast they got my lightning cable to me. Apple said "Delivery Sept 28th"

Not necessarily true. Mines white 32g husbands black 16g. Mine ordered first, yet Still in China. His, here within the day probably.

status until about 6:15 local time when it changed to:

5:16 PM local to 6:15 AM local indicates that the UPS tracking system for the overseas legs of these shipments was/is lagging by about 13 hours! Now that it is certainly within corridors with very frequent air freight service, it should start to move. That is until it flies into the black hole at Louisville.

If i don't see or hear ZhengZhou, China for the rest of my life it will be too soon.
