Recently got an iPhone 5s from a friend, does it seem like he took poor care of the battery?

CycleCount: 124
DesignCapacity: 1550
FullChargeCapacity: 1445 (93.23)
Doesnt seem like there's really much wrong with it. And it's pretty hard to take poor care of the battery these days as it basically doesn't require any particular care.

I got my battery replace today and must know is the battery health good or bad!

Here are the datails direct from the ibackupbot Programm

Well, you can see what the numbers are telling you.

Was this supposed to be a new battery (because it seems to have 231 charging cycles that it has gone through).

Well, if you were supposed to get a new battery or something close to new, then this doesn't look like it.

If you are looking at how good it is, the numbers are showing that it fills up to 1258 out of potential possible of 1420. The numbers are telling you it's holding 88.6% of the full potential capacity. It's not great, but it's still good, especially after over 200 charge cycles that the battery seems to have gone through.

Hi all, I'm having some issues with my iPhone 5, it feels like the battery doesn't last very long (I'm on iOS 7.0.3) so I had a look around and saw people mention iBackupBot to see what the battery is actually holding.

These are my results what do you think? The iPhone was bought in October last year. The full charge capacity seems a little low at just 177 cycles.

From my experience with iPhone it seems the batteries need changing at the 2 year, or close to the 2 year mark.

You can keep it as is, but you'll have to charge it twice a day.

Doesn't look like a new battery. Where did you get that replaced?

Careful with letting non apple people open the iPhone. One shop busted my iPhone 4 replacing the home button.

Battery Doc says that my iPhone 5 battery has a capacity of 1231 mAh after 255 cycles.

New rated capacity is 1440 mAh, so I'm at 85.5% after about 15 months. Not bad, although I definitely notice the shorter battery capacity.

Was it replaced by Apple? Also where do I get this iBackupbot program?

One thing I did not know was that 100% on the iOS battery icon is not max charge.

The icon text went to 100%, but battery doc app says that the battery is only at 1219 of 1231 mAh and is still charging!

Yeah, I noticed that a while ago. If I left my phone on charge for a good 10-15 mins after 100% had been reached (on the battery indicator), my battery lasted much longer from 100% down to 90%. If I disconnected the charger as soon as 100% is showing on the indicator, the battery depleted quicker. Battery Doc confirmed that I wasn't just imagining it!

sorry but not i wasnt replace by apple! I got my battery replaced by an Service store called "http://handy-doktor.info"

I had noticed a reduction in my usage time of about one hour+ and the capacity was reduced to 1280/1440 for a week every time i used the battery doc. app.. After that the capacity was increased to 1330/1440 but the reduction in usage time remains. My charge cycle is 320 cycles and i used to average 7+ hours of usage time and now i can't get past 6 hours with the same phone use.

I have had an iPhone 5 since it came out. But it was replaced soon after I got it due to the volume buttons stopping working. So I can't remember when it was replaced but it was over a year ago I am sure. My batt seems to die within two hours so I always have to have a charger on me. (I'm disabled so I'm on it constantly.) I thought my battery was bad. Mainly because of it's age. So I ordered a new one from Amazon. But I don't know if it's new. Is there a way to tell from the batt. Like a code or something. But anyways here is the current batteries info. From this I'm not sure it needs to be replaced.

My battery life has been sucking lately. I was going to bring it to an apple store before the warranty is up but I have ios 8 on it and don't want them to just tell me i need ios 7 before theyll look at it cause ill lose all my pictures going back to ios 7. is this bad? I know its a lot of cycles but the design capacity to the full charge capacity looks good to me no?

FullChargeCapacity: 1500
Status: Success
BatteryCurrentCapacity: 51

I forgot to mention that my phone will die at random levels of charge. Sometimes its 25% sometimes 13% then at 21% this last time it died at 36% that more than anything else led me to buy a new battery. I still have to wait for the tool kit to come but I will report back when I have changed it.

Surprised to see my battery hold up after 517 cycles. I haven't had any random shut downs or anything like that. Always goes down to 1% before shutting off like it should.

I went to the Apple Store in Birmingham UK and a member of staff told me the issue was entirely my fault, I was using incorrectly! This is plainly wrong, not to say insulting, I have not been yanking the cable out as suggested.

You only have to look at the abundance of 1 star reviews in the UK store to see just how disapointed and disgusted most people are with the extremely poor kwality of this item.

Got a nice legit video on how to do it? How hard is it?

iPhone 5, had it since its release.

CycleCount: 384
DesignCapacity: 1430
FullChargeCapacity: 341

I'd say my battery is as good as dead... It drains at about 10%/min on LTE. Also turns off randomly now. Not sure if I should bother replacing the battery now or wait for the new iPhone. :(

Not sure how it got this bad at only ~400 cycles... maybe cause I use a dock and its constantly in and out of charging?

Damn, that's bad. When the phone is on the dock, does it get hot? Excessive heat could ruin the battery.
